Sayantani Ghosh is playing Dr Anjali’s character.

Is she Dr Shashank’s daughter Anjali or some other doctor with same name?

and if she is Dr Shashank’s daughter, her look doesn’t suit her like they hadn’t shown anjali in traditional attire much in DMG and now direct saree strange.

( Anyways looking forward to watch Sanjeevani 2 without thinking much about DMG 👍🏼 fingers crossed )

Yes, Dr Anjali is Dr Shashank's daughter .

Sanjivani - S1/ S2 (including DMG, which was more youth centric, sort of spin off ) are a brand now, where certain characters are retained with an independent innate individual 15 year journey,the modulations & shifts added by experiences they've gone through will attach layers & references to characters and story around them, but I am sure the basic crux of character will remain true to its characterization.

Looking forward for S2 without any prejudices..the genre, stellar cast & trademark is exciting enough 😉

I have same questions, what happened to anjali atul track in end? and only doctor shashank? where is padma? will they show her?

even they could have continued with original anjali. no problem with new actor but it’s difficult to relate things yar.

and most important anjali will atleast remember her old friends right? like atul ridzi armaan and others?? 😲

S2 is clearly the reboot, not a continuation of previous shows, just about drawing inspiration from earlier ones , meaning they'll be opting for creative liberty to snip, shred stub wherever necessary while staying true to the quintessence of Sanjivani- The medical boon, dealing with personal & professional lives of doctors & how they face trials tribulations & triumphs while balancing both 😊

Though they'll be most certainly be bringing in few prior characters & incidences to convolut & unravel the story,in course, once the existing pace is set 😳

so anjali is a main character too...i wonder who she will be paired with now...rohit roy?
