Manya Sharma's biggest passion is dance. She is a very talented kathak dancer. Mirchi, her mother is fondly called, surprises her with a letter from the National Dance Academy stating that shes been selected to join the academy. Manya excitedly tells her grandfather, Havaldar Vaidji, about it. Later that night Manya comes home in a police uniform.
