Although my focus is on Saathiya now, eventually I want to be a film star - Mohammad Nazim
Daily shows in today's time have surely become mundane with done to death tracks being offered to viewers. And male actors suffer the most with majority of the show's track focusing on the women.
We thus got into a conversation with Mohammad Nazim, the male lead of Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) to ask him about his views.
The actor shares, "To be honest all these don't affect me much, for thankfully our creatives are smart enough to churn out good tracks for all characters. Our show has never placed the male actors in the back seat even though the house in the show is full of women (smiles)."
"My character in the show has evolved in these years and has shown so much of variant. The key characteristic of a reserved guy still remains although Ahem (his character) has also shown a number of emotions. From some humourous moments to romantic and a lot more of anger in the current stage, the character has given me ample scope to grow as an actor," avers Nazim.
Talking about his future aspirations, the good looking and well built actor admits, "TV has of course given me an identity and the love of people all over the world. But then its movies where my heart is and I would love to be a film star soon. I've already done a couple of Punjabi and a Bollywood film, but there's a lot more to achieve and I am sure I will do so in the coming days."
And finally sharing some tidbits about his team, Nazim quips, "It's a wonderful group and I really enjoy spending time with them. I always believe that one should be good so that others too feel connected to you. Only if you are a nice person from heart, you attract friends and bond with people. Luckily for me, everyone here is also very pure from heart just like me. This is the reason we gel so well."
We completely agree with you Nazim!
