Love at First sight
Episode #6 Engagement and Nahar's Jealousy
Saloni is shocked to hear from Nahar that Neel may be in love with her. She feels sad . Nahar sees Saloni's sad face. He changes the topic .He asks her about her quiz.
"Thanks the quiz went fine. But I have not slept at all last night. I am very tired." Says Saloni yawning. Nahar's cell rings. He tells Saloni he has to take this phone. He parks the car by the curbside and talks on the phone. It is getting dark and tired Saloni falls asleep. Her head drops on Nahar's shoulder in her sleep. Nahar observes her and feels happy.. The phone call lasts about 30 minutes. As he hangs up he is thinking of waking up Saloni and Ambika calls.
"Nahar beta How long it will take we are waiting for you and Saloni. You are having dinner with us. I like to talk to saloni.". Says Ambika lovingly.
"Thank you mummyji Saloni is fast a sleep. A business associate called so I had to stop the car. While I was talking she went to sleep. I think she is very tired. We would get there in 30-40 minutes." Says Nahar politely.
"Yes she did not sleep last night. Now it will be hard to wake her. Just let her sleep. We will wait" says Ambika. Nahar seats in the car listening to music and watching sleeping Saloni. He gently massages her hair and kisses her forehead. Saloni wakes up and immidately goes back to sleep. He takes the car in a small street with much less traffic and parks the car and watches Saloni thinking about their future together. He also falls sleep listening to the music. Around 9.30 Ambika calls back. Now Nahar is fast a sleep leaning his head on Saloni's head and holding Saloni with his hand. Saloni wakes up and feels shy watching herself leaning on Nahar's shoulder, Nahar leaning on her head and holding her tightly. She gently moves his head and relieves herself then wakes him saying some one is calling. Nahar picks up the phone.
"Sorry mummyji I fell a sleep too. Now we are coming. You still like to talk to Saloni? Asks Nahar politely.
" No it ok. Just hurry home we are all waiting.' says Ambika.
Nahar starts the car. At home they all have dinner. Saloni and Shweta helps Ambika with kitchen while Narapt Sahil and Nahar talks. Saloni tells Ambika Nahar still has a lot of congestion and he needs to be taken care of. After clean up they all sit and talk. Ambika tells Nahar she is not letting him go home till he is completely better. She is not listening to anything.
"mummyji I don't have any clothes to change into. Besides I need to finish some of my work at home. I need to go back home if it is ok with you?" asks Nahar politely.
"Nahar beta you don't consider us your family. We bought some clothes for you already. Saloni told me you sounded very congested. I also promise Sumer bhaisa that I will take care of you like a mother. You are not working tonight anyway. Saloni, Shweta and Sahil are not going to let you work. Saloni beta take Nahar to guest room. I will come there with his clothes." says Ambika smiling.
Nahar follows Saloni. Saloni seems very happy. Nahar feels happy thinking he will be able to spend more time with saloni alone. Saloni shows him everything. Ambika comes with clothes and tells Saloni before Nahar goes to sleep apply Vicks on his head chest and back and nose and asks her to make him some home remedy and forcefully make him drink. Shweta and sahil joins them. They talk for a while then Ambika takes Shweta and Sahil away and closes the door.. Finally nahar and saloni are alone in the room.
Nahar tells her he loved her gift. He has something for her also. He gives her 2 boxes and asks her to open them. Saloni opens the first box and finds beautiful diamond set. Then she opens 2nd box to find a cell phone. Saloni's face lights up.
"Thank you very much. I loved both gifts. The set is extremely beautiful." says Saloni smiling.
"No need to thank me and there is nothing more beautiful than my Saloni. May I put it on you?" asks Nahar smiling. Saloni gets up and goes near the mirror. Nahar puts earring and necklace on saloni and gently kisses her neck holding her from the back. Saloni tries to free her self but he keeps on holding her. He sees Saloni blushing and he could hear her heart pounding. He lets her go. Saloni excuses her self and runs away telling him she will be right back mean while he can finish changing. Saloni comes back with a glass full of home made remedy. Nahar is adamant to drink but could not refuse and drinks up. Nahar makes a face. Saloni smiles as he pulls her closer.
"You are enjoying making me drink such a bad tasting medicine. That is not nice You should try to see how horrible it tastes." Jokes Nahar.
"It is nothing like that. This will make you feel better tomorrow How can I be happy when you are miserable? You know how much I." says Saloni without finishing and blushes.
"I what saloni? You have to finish your sentence or I am not letting you go." says Nahar firmly. He holds her hand tight and pulls her closer and kisses her forehead. She tries to free herself.
"Please let me go. Someone will come. I will tell you. Please close your eyes." Says Saloni begging. Nahar closes his eyes.
" Nahar I love you very very much. I love you more than my life. Now you need to go to sleep it is very late and you need a rest." confesses Saloni.
Nahar smiles and lies down. Saloni applies Vicks on him. When she applies on Nahar 's chest. Nahar holds her hand on his heart and tells her how much he loves her and how much he is looking forward to spend his entire life with her. She has filled his life with joy. He is so lucky to find a girl like saloni. Saloni smiles and gently kisses his forehead and runs away blushing. Nahar goes to sleep happy. Saloni too is happy that she is so close to Nahar. Next morning Sumer calls to tell Nahar that his aunt is better. They can fix engagement date. Sumer talks to Narpat and they decide to have puja on one Sunday and engagement on 2nd Sunday. Saloni and Nahar are happy to hear the news. Nahar gets up and he is surprise to find his clothes lying there.
"When you were sleeping Sahil and I went to your house and got your clothes. I hope you don't mind. "Says Saloni lovingly.
"Saloni Thank you your medicine worked like a magic. I feel great. It is our house now. Uncle put you in charge of me and the house. What ever is mine is yours now. But I hope you did not touch the love letters from my previous girlfriends". Says Nahar jokingly. saloni hits him and runs away.
Next four days flies as Nahar and Saloni spends so much time together in Saloni's house. He feels like their family member now. Nahar buys clothes for him and her for their engagement and puja. Saloni asks to decorate house for the engagement. They buy all the decorations together.
They go to his family estate and have puja there and they exchange rings in front of family members and few close friends of Sumer, Sumer jokes with Narpat Now saloni is ours. Saloni finally meets Sumer's family. Everyone is so happy. Sumer gives her box filled with Nahar's mom's jewelry.
Next Saturday saloni tells Nahar she wants to surprise him so he has to spend few hours outside till she calls him. Nahar agrees. Saloni Shweta and Sahil and few close friends work on the house for few hours. Finally saloni calls naahr . Nahar comes back and shocked to see his house. His house looks like some designer has decorated his house with so much planning and spent weeks doing it.
" Saloni I feel so proud and honored that you are going to be my life partner and thank you for selecting me." Says Nahar proudly hugging her.
"you just praise me too much. I am just an average girl. I am like a Cinderella who found his prince charming. You are so handsome, smart dashing,loving any girl will be proud to have you as a husband Thank you for coming in my life and selecting me and making me so happy." says Saloni feeling so happy and kissing him.
Next day they have a huge party. Sumer's family arrives in the afternoon. Sumer is also shocked to see the house looking so beautiful. When Nahar tells Saloni decorated the whole house in few hours and with very little money. He feels so happy.
Saloni arrives with her family. They both are dressed very nicely. Seeing Saloni Nahar whistles.
"You look absolutely stunning and gorgeous. I can't wait to hold you in my arms." whispers Nahar in her ears.
"You also look so dashing and handsome." Says Saloni in his ears.
They both exchange rings. Then they have dinner and dancing. They party till late night. Finally everyone leaves and Nahar gets some time alone and he just holds saloni and kiss her admiring her. Narpat shows up to get saloni.
Next day at college Saloni finds out they have cultural program and she is paired against neel playing his love in a drama. Saloni tries to get out. But the teacher won't. She also thinks Neel will feel bad. But she knows nahar will not like this. She is in dilemma.
" I have to practice for the cultural program. I will be late everyday because we practice after school. I hope you don't mind but I am paired up with neel playing his love interest. I tried to get out. But the teacher won't let me". Says saloni worriedly
"It is all right Saloni. I am also going out of town tomorrow for one week. But I will be back for your program. I will miss you very much. My partner was supposed to go but his wife had accident and I have to go. I am sorry. I do not like to stay away from you even one day. But we can call each other. Use the cell any time you want to talk to Me." says nahar sadly. Nahar pulls the car on the side and stops. He hugs her for a little while.
" Don't worry one week will pass quickly. You will have your work and I will be busy with school and program." says saloni comforting him rubbing his chest.
Nahar leaves next morning. They talk to each other whole week and tell each other how much they miss each other. Saloni feels very lost without seeing him
Nahar comes back after a week. They both are looking forward to meet each other. She misses last class to see him. They go to a restaurant. They both hold eachother and listens to each other's heart beats. Nahar kisses her and saloni tells him she has to leave. But she will meet him later. Naahr drops her in school and goes home to get ready.
Nahar arrives with flowers for Saloni. He kisses her forhead and wishes good luck to neel and her. Neel feels jealous seeing them together. Program starts. Nahar watches saloni and neel together and feels burning sensation in his heart. His doubt confirms. He could not watch them together anymore. He feels very jealous and wants to leave in the middle. As soon as drama ends Nahar tells Ambika he has something important to do and leaves. As Saloni is coming out she sees Nahar leaving. She wants to run after him. But Neeta stops her telling she can't go yet. Saloni is very heart broken and cries.

AWWWWWWW. It sounds so cute, bet it'll be really romantic. can't wait. Nahar gets jealous. I bet that whole thing is resolved by a very romantic heart-to-heart talk between Nahar and Saloni later in the story. You are amazing Rakshadidi.
