Kamini may be mean awful and all those things but she sure as hell is right about one thing ...........
What in the world r they showing in SP .........getting gals married at 18 in this generation , instead of educating them or planning careers for them of their choices ?
Is Marraige the only way to ' tame ' girls or ' keep them in check ' when they are teenagers and are not mature enough to take right decisions ?
It has to be noted here that marraige is being portrayed as a way of shackling ' wild girls ' . And the name of the show is Saat phere , holy union of man and woman ! What is holy or noble about this distasteful purpose ?
Dumb , spiritless Sawri is of course going to go one step ahead of her martyr mom and marry not just an uncle but perhaps even a grandpa . But honestly , is this the generation leap that they were talking about ?

I agree with what is said. Scriptwriters need to be clubbed over their heads for writing no for scribbling these kinds of things and thinking it would make for good entertainment. Shame to see that something sacred as marriage is turning into a joke. The sad part of this all is that Sawari might agree, afterall she wants her sister to be happy and she doesn't want to be the one to ruin her sister's happiness but what will even be sadder is if Bhabho and Tara give their consent instead of opposing.

It is because creatives have lost their mind and they think that the audience also has none like them.

the serial is so regressive. But its not SP creatives fault alone, almost all serials show girls as being so homely, and having no ambition with regard to career..

But this is taking a step backwards.. even Saloni had good education, History majors I think.. Also a brief career as singer.
But both her daughters dont have any ambition! Werent they toppers in class??
Even if Sweta liked the boy, cant she say, that I like him, but I am too young. I will marry after I graduate and stand on my own 2 feet.

Alas! I guess real career girls are yet to make entry into our serials..
