Just thought you guys should know that the writers of the show didn't do their research properly... the blood group ABi+ is the worst possible blood group they could have chosen... it is known as the 'Universal Reciever' blood group ... i.e. it can recieve blood from any other blood group...people who are AB+ can recieve blood from ALL OF THE OTHER BLOOD GROUPS... i.e. Brijesh could have gotton blood from any of his family...didn't matter if they were A+, B+, A-, B-, O+ or O- or AB-.... they should have chosed O- as Brijesh's blood group - as it is the rarest of all the blood types - and cannot take blood from any other group except O-!!

I believe they got Amrit's and Brijesh's blood group mixed up. Brijesh should have been O- and Amrit AB+. 😆

i agree AB+ is universal receiver group . as this is my blood group too and I always got doctors telling me I never have to worry as I can get blood from any other blood groups, So brij could have gotten any one's blood. But writers use half knowledge when they write the story na.

Oh really? Thanks, that's new to me! Really appreciate the info. This just shows the lack of research done in the writers' part.

How can writers allow to do such obvious mistake so pathetic. They should know today's viewer are educated and aware of blood group type by writing this kind script they display how little knowledge they presume.

just to clarify a few things as a medical professional. AB + can not get bloods from -ve's. + and - are Rh factors that don't match. AB + can get blood from all other +ve's. I am AB+ too. BUT when there was a possibility in my life where I may need blood, doc said small amount of transfusion from other +ve blood group is fine, but large amount has to come from AB+, prefereably live transfusion (from a person), not a bottle. this is something new. Atleast here in USA, this is the case. AB group is very rare, only 3% peole in the world has it. But here I see so many AB+ve people😆

Actually, the medical fact is that it would of course be best for a person with AB+ to have blood from another AB+ ... esp in large amounts ... but it is also a fact that AB+ CAN get blood from Rh negative donors.... for ppl with this blood group ... it doesn't matter if the Rh is -ve or +ve... It's a fact ... check it out...
However, ppl with AB- cannot take blood from any +group.... maybe that is what you're getting it confused with...
