This time in its popular STAR Dopahar band- GRAHSATI, starting February 25th, Monday-Friday, 2.30pm, only On STAR PLUS!
A heart-rending family drama, Grahasti will unfold through a story of seven women belonging to the Khurana household and their journey as they cope with life after the loss of the only male member of the family! Grahasti is the story of the hardships faced by the womankind at every stage of their lives, be it as a mother, a daughter, a grandmother and so on. After having lived in a protected environment all the while, destiny suddenly exposes the women to a life to that forces them to find a footing and identity for themselves, in this male-dominated society.
Commenting on the launch of Grahasti, Anupama Mandloi, Sr. Creative Director, STAR PLUS, said, "STAR Plus, continues to offer its viewers original content and fresh and gripping programming in the afternoon band. Through Grahasti, we are hoping to add newer viewers to our existing strong and loyal viewership in this band that is accredited to programmes such as Bhaabhi, Kumkum, Sarrthi etc."

With its interesting cast line-up Grahasti will witness the coming together of the two veteran actors -Kiran Kumar (playing the character of Balraaj Khurana) & Vaidehi Amrute (playing the character of Amrit Khurana). The show will also introduce three new and young faces namely Khushbu, Aarti Singh & Neha Desai who will be playing the characters of three daughters namely Simar. Rano and Sohini respectively.
An intrinsically woven story, Grahasti will offer women as characterized in various phases of Khurana's household, which revolves around the patriarch. What happens when the pillar of the house and all of these seven women's life falls apart. Their helplessness and life's demand on them to step into new roles to unfold a new reality.
