I am disappointed with the way Anant's character is being shown ...ain't there anything interesting to do for him than doing yesmanship of Vijay and Mandira? Maybe with SDDB the trend goes that characters only show development or get to do something different once hit by tragedy. As is happening in case of Mandira. And earlier happened in case of Vijay too.
It would be nice to see Anant's character being imparted some depth. At this point it feels like the story would have barely got affected even if Anant wasn't a part of it. Which is quite unfair considering Varun Toorkey was referred to as the 'parallel lead' in the show. I have seen many shows where along with the main plot there are sub plots too where we see story of supporting characters - their journey, their development.
Anant and Mandira can actually have a compelling equation too. Husband and wife where the husband knows that the wife is madly in love with his best friend - their relationship has the potential to be complex with the ringing question of whether they both would be able to get over the heartbreak and fall in love and accept each other.
