I agree with u Barnali.

In one of the digitally re-mastered songs, "Jo wada kiya hai" they have added some additional music, which has taken away the poignant feel to the music and somehow making it seem a lil flat, rather than actually enhance it.

Dawnji you have a point but then who is telling anybody to sit with the whole family to watch these videos... its like planning to watch "Indecent proposal" after dinner for family.... There are certain things which change... Shefali is not really vulgar or atleast as vulgar as she is made out to be... And if we just limit our moral inspectoring a little bit.. these things wont matter as much...

Hi everyone - thanks for sharing the great articles.. Geeta Dutt was one of the exceptional voices of her times who I think never got her due... She has sung some of the best songs of that time.... There are numerous songs that I can mention, but would like to quote 'nanhi kali sone chali' here.. to me, it remains the best sung lullabye of hindi cinema...

Geeta Dutt is my favorite singer i like all her songs, my two favorite songs are

1) Kali ghata chhaye mora jiya tarsaye-Sujata
2) Aaj sajan mohe aang lagalo janam safal ho jaye-Pyaasa (I like this because there is so much sadness in her voice. You can hear her longing in her singing, it is beautiful.)
