Yeah. Mornings, my brain does not work, but I know of one song, with beautiful lyrics which were made to look so cheap with the picturisation that a teen friend, who I was raving about old songs to, pointed out this song to me and said u call the lyrics soulful, its vulgur 🤢 .

I replayed the original song to her and then she was like ok 😳

Ok let me clarify my point:

The recording technology on those days was quite poor! Do you believe the generation X today is going to listen the mono (maximum stereo) recorded songs? So digital enhancement ofthe old tracks is absolutely required. Now about music video – I know almost al of them is just crap. But if some good director take up the challenge and produce a great job here – why not. You have to be a little loud to filter signals from noise. At the era of overproduction – to introduce these old gems to the younger crowd – we need to be creative (not ultra creative like "Kabi Aaar…" those are just 🤢 ). Otherwise you have to accept that "aajkaal Rafi saab ko kaun suntan hai"! 😉

Anol, to do that, we can digitally remaster the song.

Why have some young starlet, barely in her teens, who has no concept of music, but just out to make her career in the ENTERTAINMENT industry, croon these melodies and kill them in the process.

The generation next wont understand our music this way. They will simply wither away.

Another I remember probably few months back , I was watching one pop chart (by chance) don't remember the channel . and there was a classical based song " Khamajh" forget the artist name , that was in top three . video was not vulgar.

I think it isnot necessary to add this kind of spice to make them available to young generation . Good theme video will do magic
songs should be re recorded and digitalized to improve the quality . but it should be presented in a proper way
