SRGMP is basically about versatality from Classical to Bollywood.
Being good in one genre is not enough here.
But in life being the best in one genre counts.

No I understand what you mean, it's important to be versatile in a competition like this one. But as Summerji has said, being the best in a genre will take him very far and give him a name of his own.

Similar to dance? How so?ghazals singing is exactly similar to dance, lady.
we need versatile singer.only ghazal can not make anybody versatile.all others can sing better ghazal than this poor fellow.if this is young, then, others were young too sometime.this young man sings like an old man.
