system, leading to illness, general

Ideally, you should get a minimum of 7.5 hours of sleep every night, while getting 8 or even 9 is much preferable. The average Briton sleeps 8.1 hours each night, according to a UK-based
survey. Nevertheless, some political leaders have boasted about how little sleep they get, yet how well they are able to function. Former British
Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, for example, claimed that while in
office, she got by perfectly well on 5 hours of sleep.
