Daler Mendi has an amazing voice!

Daler Mahndi is an excellent singer in his jenre ...His range is amazing !!!!...I think he will be a very good , honest judge too ...

Somehow, I don't have a good impression of Daler. Hence, "Daler Mehandi" and "appreciation" in the same sentence sounds like an oxymoron to me.

Chandigarh, October 6: Punjab police has registered a case of fraud and cheating against noted Punjabi singer, Daler Mehndi and four other persons including his brother who has been arrested, for allegedly promising to take youth abroad in their musical troupe, a senior police officer said on Tuesday.


The case has been registered at Patiala on a complaint from one Bakshish Singh, a resident of Belwara district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Patiala, Paramraj Singh Umranangal said over phone.
The complainant alleged that he had paid Rs. 13 lakh out of the demand of Rs 15 lakh for sending him abroad, which was however, not done.

A police party arrested Daler Mehndi's brother Shamsher near the Punjabi University campus at Patiala while he was on his way to receive an instalment of money from Bakshish Singh, the SSP said.

He said that Daler Mehndi and others have been charged with promising to take people from Chandigarh as part of his troupe and then leaving them in Canada and the USA.

The singer's brother Shamsher Mehndi was being interrogated while police parties had been sent to nab Daler Mehndi and others named in the FIR.

He said that presently it was not known as to how many persons had been taken so far or the amount of money involved in the alleged case saying investigations were on.

plz keep his personal life out of this forum. we can disucss his singing. here. But not what he did and he is doing.

This is an appreciation thread for Daler Mehndi Sahib and he has been selected by SRGMP management to serve as a Judge and not by beggars like you.

Nobody is forcing you to listen to his music or like him, you can discuss your views with your family and not here. You have no right to insult and bash him in this thread.😡
