OBJ, for me ,the coveted Bharat ratna award cease to exists when rajiv gandhi was awarded along with Mr. Sardar vallabhai patel. . Rajiv gandhi? i mean, for what? so now, who gets when doesn't really bother me.
but it would be an interesting discussion , as why rafi didnt get it as yet? or if he would ever be awarded with one? or has lata already filled up the category ?

sorry, haven't had any chance to watch anyone performing live, but yeah, have heard stories about jagjit singh too and also C. Ramchandra made news when his concert was cancelled for he was heavily drunk to even perform.
i mean seriously, who knows what "sinks in" for these artists? must be the loneliness , the insecuity of fading glory?
infact, i read somewhere that even rafi had given up singing thinking its a sin and went to london. it was on his son's insistence that he came back to mumbai.
then we have lata who never married?
and then we have kishore kumar who married many?
i mean must be some kind of emotional roller coaster ride for these great artists. its not easy to be in their shoes. or even to think about it.

In video when JS was commenting about ARR, it seems he was fully drunk. I dont drink but I love FULLY drunk people because at that moment there can not be anybody more innocent than them, red eyes, idhar ka step udhar, talking from heart. They have been most helpless and pure souls in the world, everything around them start dancing even bottle.

hmmm... i personally feel they dont want to give an award posthumously 😡

aaah who cares.. i'd rather listen to his music rather than to get f'ed up over a silly stone leaf anyway...dont know why i bothered asking why rafi hasnt got an award with no value...

bharat ratna, f$$$ you! (until rafi gets you 😆.. altho u dont deserve him 😡).

Gandhiji (M) is bigger than the award. He sacrificed everything.⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rafi will definitely get it , be patient, for he has won the hearts of all.👏👏👏

Obj you got it right! Rafi Saab deserves all the acknowledgements and awards he can get he was a true gem. Honestly I don't know why they aren't awarding him with it... I hope they do soon. His fans have been so patient...
