Kailash Kher questions Alka Yagnik's judgement?
Zee TV's Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l, Champs has won the hearts of the viewers across the globe with its outstanding pool of young musical talent. The quality of li'l singers are a treat to watch and judging these incredibly talented kids sitting on the Mahaguru's seat like Alka Yagnik does is no mean feat!

Although, no one can question the Mahaguru's verdict but when she eliminated Pooja and Prajwal from Guru Kailash Kher's team in the very first week of the show... it certainly did not go down well with Sufi maestro Kailash and he made his feelings apparent on the show. Kailash claimed that the eliminations by Mahaguru Alka were totally 'unfair.

Alka is not one to take such allegations lightly and doesn't want any decision that she announces to be controversial. So to ensure that that no one points a finger at her apt judgment, Alka goes through the footages of all the contestants once again in the control room before passing her verdict.

Says a crew member, "The Saturday episodes are usually very stressful because it entails eliminations. The remark made by Kailashji did not go down well with Alkaji but instead of fretting over it, she has taken the comment in the right spirit. She crosschecks the footages of all the contestants in the control room and then takes a call so that there's absolutely no ambiguity about the decision she is taking."

Well, Alka Yagnik definitely deserves kudos for her patience and perseverance. She had already won our hearts as a singer par excellence. Now she's also bowled us over for being a judge par excellence!

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs airs every Friday & Saturday at 10 pm, only on Zee TV.

Though initial selection of 18 contestants in zee is good like in last singing superstar, once the gharana business starts, the zee shows becomes third rate. I cant understand why the contestants are divided in three groups. The judges becomes emotionally attached to thier group and start behaving like kids. Under pressure Alkaji cannot eliminate any body from Kher's group next time even if they perform badly. Finally zee creative will come into picture and make the show a drama by selcting three contestants from three regions or one from each group for the finals. That is why after watching the initial rounds I have stopped watching little champs.

I fink both judges were right in their own ways, as Kailash felt dat his student was wrongly judged den it wud only make it fair for him to voice his opinion, because the student wud only look to his mentor 4 support n if he didnt' get dat, den it makes the child lack belief in the Guru's dat maybe they dnt belive in them and dats y he didnt' argue dat fact.
...but Alka Yagnik was also right to justify why she made her decision, at least she considered her decision again, n explained herself, to why she thought so.
Overall it was right for them to debate it, cos wen u believe in something u hav 2 show dat faith by questioning the decision maker, so it makes it more interesting to know the detailed reasons, as the audiences can see dat the decision making is dun fairly and with reason, n not favourism...😊
