Challenge 2005 -- 12 Years On

Thought I'd start a fun discussion -- who here was around when SRGMP made the switch to the Challenge format? Looking back at it, what changes would you suggest need to be made? And most importantly, if you were faced with bringing this format back, who would you pick to replace Aadesh? And how would you get Jatin-Lalit to reunite for this show?

Yes, the international format started in 2007, but I'm talking about 2005, the one before it, which was already somewhat international (Paresh and Swananda were selected from the UK auditions, and the Top 48 had someone from the UAE).

Not being able to witness Aadesh in action as a judge is a real tragedy, because he was a very good judge.

Unfortunately, there aren't any episodes of Challenge 2005 on the internet that I could find, so I wouldn't be able to help you there. If you look hard enough, you might find some videos from 2009 though.

I'll also say that I'm on an active lookout for any full shows from Challenge 2005 because I'd like to relive my childhood (I was only 3 then, so not many memories of the show, apart from...Rajeev forgetting lyrics to a song, Paresh's god-awful Hindi, etc.). If you've got any and are willing to share, I will be forever grateful.
