I really cannot remember who won till date. usually, they tend to give each singer by turn.

Sometimes, they take a wrong turn๐Ÿ˜†

The really good ones earn a couple more๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Vishwajeet started taking lessons in music at an early age under the guidance of his father Milind Borwankar. With a supportive musical background Vishwajeet was introduced to the intricacies in talim under guru-shishya parampara by Dr. Ram Deshpande, who is one of the leading Vocalists of today's generation and a torch bearer of Hindustani Shastriya Sangeet. Vishwajeet received rigourous talim of Gwalior Gharana during this period. Presently, he is under the able guidance of Pt. Babanrao Haldankar who is one of the most respected stalwarts of Agra and Jaipur Gharana. Babanraoji received his talim from great legendary maestros like Ustad Khadim Hussain Khan Sahib and Smt. Mogubai Kurdikar. Hence Vishwajeet has been fortunate to be blessed under his guidance and teachings. Vishwajeet's father has his own music academy "SWARSANSKAR" for more than 10 years now. Swar Sanskar is very active in propagation of music and creating awareness within students. With acceptance from his gurus, Vishwajeet is imparting training in music to selected students since last few years.

More about him !

Good news for Vishwajeet Borwankar

Ever wondered the reason behind Vishwajeet Borwankar's radiant smile these days? One hears the 27 year old Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 contestant is on the brink of 'daddyhood'.

The twinkle in his eyes is not to be missed when you sit talking to him about the new development on his personal front. With a shy smile he says, "Yes, my wife Gayatri is pregnant. It's been 4 months now. The feeling is beautiful. Can't wait to welcome the bundle of joy!"

Ask him about how is he managing the grueling rehearsal schedules of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and spending time with his wife and pat comes the reply, "I ensure I'm done with my rehearsals with the band before anybody else. Fortunately the other contestants are a cool bunch of people who allow me to practice first cheerfully. And then I'm off to be with my wife in the evening at Borivli (his residence).

Vishwajeet has been blissfully married since the past one and half years. Love blossomed between the two at his father's music classes and the rest as they say is history. Vishwajeet has been musically inclined since childhood. Since his father was a music teacher, his upbringing was in a musical milieu. He has been most influenced by his music Guru of 7 years, Dr. Ram Deshpande. Vishwajeet is the winner of Zee Marathi's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and is currently doing very well in the Marathi music industry.

His main motive to participate in Hero Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 is to showcase his talent in front of a global audience and compete with singers across the country.

Given an opportunity, he would like to meet Lata Mangeshkar and Shah Rukh Khan in the show. Music is his passion and he wants to carve a niche for himself in the same industry.

Some of the singers he idolizes are Shankar Mahadevan, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi and Yanni. Apart from being a singer, he is also a music composer. Vishwajeet is an ace badminton player, loves to travel, has a passion for photography, swimming and also arranging music. He is a complete foodie and loves to experiment with different cuisines.

Piya re by Vishwajeet. Good beginning. Did not like some of the sargams. somewhere the melody was lost in the song. Could have been better.
