TOI: Anirudh is new look

The entire world is running on the treadmill to lose weight, but television actor Aniruddh Daveis gaining weight.

And all this is just for his new character. Playtime Creationn's new show 'Ruk Jana Nahin' is seeing a comeback of the bad man Aniruddh as Indu Singh. Playing this character is definitely a challenge for Anirudh.

Personally, Anirudh, who is from Rajasthan has seen student politics in his college life closely. "Though I have never attended or participated in any of the student politics campaigns, I was very active with the cultural programs and that made me popular in college. So, all the leaders used to call me for their campaigns!" he shares.

Anirudh also had to work out for his character, as it demands him to be very strong. He is tagged in the show as a Bahubali.

"A Bahubali is not just a macho man, he is more than that. I have gained few kilos too give a strong and authentic look to my character. Producer Hemal Thakkar is a fantastic producer and the way he briefed me the character, he gave me complete details about the character at one go," he says.

Prior to this show, Aniruddh has played negative shades in shows like 'Mera Naam Karegi Roshan', 'Phulwa' but Anirudh believes this is the strongest character he has played so far.
