Face Off - Vishnu vs Hemant

I was so happy that the face off is between my Top 2, these two are such amazing singers, absolute wonders <3 <3

Vishnu - Is she really 12? Her rendition of Satyam Shivam Sundaram (Hemant in the chorus) was her best performance for me and one of the best performances of all time, it's weird that she got only 88%, she should have gotten 100% for this one..Monali was absolutely stupid to even compare Vishnu's performance with Akhtar Brothers and say that they were better.. Ha like that's even possible...

But what happened in Face Off? Why did she select this song, against Hemant? The song though a very famous song but that's what went wrong with this I suppose, she was amazing in the beginning but her notes were not correct during the first verse and that "Sun Raha Hai...", it just didn't click with me, although I voted Yes for her #Obviously, song selection could have been better, especially when you are up against someone like Hemant.

Hemant - This guy is something else, Piya Re is one of my most favorite songs, and the way Hemant started it was amazing, he hits such difficult notes with such ease, it's brilliant... That loop alaap killed me then and there, but he went a bit off with "Thare Bina" at the beginning, maybe too much energy but picked up immediately like a charm, he's such a seasoned singer...

Now I have seen people saying "Hemant got more time"... I always record the show and I watched the timing carefully.. Vishnu and Hemant both got less than 3 minutes before the voting lines were closed, but Vishnu stopped singing and Hemant went on with classical, PS Hemant's wall was lifted within 2 minutes so saying he won BECAUSE Vishnu got less time is wishful thinking to put him down.. As nothing else can.. Hemant has always scored more than Vishnu, he has been the highest scoring contestant almost every week, he has been only 2nd to Rohan once and Zaid.. Perhaps not sure, why people were even thinking that he'd lose against Vishnu is beyond me... Colors is not biased toward Brijwasis.. Hemant is not loved by people because he is a Brijwasis, Brijwasis are a brand because of Hemant, I have seen hemant's fans voting for Chetan because he is Hemant's brother... It's ridiculous how people always try to put him down, He is a classical singer, it's not a bad thing, you know? It's difficult and it took him years of hard work to correct his notes, the guy is brilliant..

Although I have this feeling that Hemant won't win finale and Colors did this deliberately to make sure people think they are biased, because I have never seen more negative comments for Hemant on Twitter before this week, I have a feeling Rohan or Zaid will win... But I really hope Top 2 are Hemant and Vishnu.. Then anyone can win

Okay singing is subjective so I won't comment on that but regarding the unfairness, we are definitely not wrong. Rewatch on Voot if you need to - Hemant's wall was NOT lifted at 2 minutes AND the fact is that the vote count stopped for the two in such a way that he got votes up till 2.50 minutes and she till 1.50 minutes.

For the face off Vishnumaya did not get the same time allowance as Hemant. For me both are equally deserving of ticket to finale & winning

And furthermore at the time where Vishnu ended, in comparison, Hemant had at least 10% less votes!

Also, TM can you please explain to me why there was no voting closing for Vishnumaya? So many people on SM are saying they were unable to vote because they didn't know!

1:25:00 Vishnu Started Singing - 1:27:16 Vishnu stopped singing but the voting lines closed after a few seconds and judges votes were counted after she stopped singing..

1:34:08 Hemant started singing - 1:36:22 wall lifted...

Yes, Hemant kept on singing for more seconds than Vishnu but his wall had lifted way before Vishnu's time was over, even a few seconds here and there but 3 judges voted for Hemant when he was at 70 and they voted for Vishnu when she was at 60...

It wasn't there for Hemant as well, and I have seen a person said that he/she logged in to vote for Vishnu... Don't you know that you can't just log in? You have to check in first to be eligible for voting

What we are trying to say is that Vishnumaya got less time to perform than Hemant. I recorded both performances right now and Hemant got at least 50s more time. And the show didn't mention beforehand that Vishnu would get less time in the show so many people couldn't vote for her. This definitely was unfair and the bias was clear.
Also, people are getting angry because Vishnu is often sidelined by the show and judges even though she is the best singer along with Hemant.

About the Brijwasi thing, I also feel that some people exagerrate it. They do deserve the attention and praise because all of them are good singers.

I agree with you. Hemant probs is not going to win the show. Theydeliberatelygave him the Ticket this week and hyped him up. And Rohanpreet got supringly low scores. So I have a feeling he will win😔, which I won't be happy about. Because when it comes to Rohan and Hemant- Hemant is definitely the stronger and better singer.

No, the difference wasn't as much as 50s.. This is actually weird that Vishnu stopped singing before the voting was closed, actually voting was on even after she stopped singing and judges voted at that time..
