Hello everyone,

I'm putting down all performances of the Top 6 starting from the auditions (courtesy Wikipedia). Pick your favorite and your worst performance by each of them.

Hemant -
Best - Slow motion angreza, only because he managed to surprise with the song.
Worst - nothing comes to mind.

Akhtar brothers-
Best - mujhe ek pal chain naa aaye
Worst - shah ka rutba

Vishnumaya -
Best - Satyam Shivam Sundaram
Worst - nothing comes to mind

Zaid -
Best - Saiyyan or surili akhiyon wale
Worst - laal Ishq ( he wasn't bad, but his voice isn't mature enough, so the song didn't sound good. His harkats and all were amazing though)

Rohanpreet -
Best - dil Diyan Gallan
Worst - Jeena jeena

Chetan -
Honestly, I don't even remember half his perfomances

Nice post! I'm really going to miss this forum...I hope we all get together in another singing show forum and are just as active!!

Now to ranking! I guess this is based on whatever comes to mind.

Worst - Mohe Rang Do Laal

Worst- all of his performances have been amazing.

Best-Mujhe ek pal chain an ae, Deva Shri Ganesha

Worst- Shah ka rutba

Vishnumaya

Best- Kehna hi kya, Satyam Shivam Sundaram (!!!!)

Worst- all of her performances have been amazing as well, but Dil Cheez kya hai I didn't enjoy much

Best- Sayyan, Main nikla gaddi leke, Surili Ankhyon Wale
Worst- Mere raska qmar because I don't like the song 😛

Ok, let me put down my choices 😃!

Hemant:

Best : Slow motion angreza- I was so blown away when he began this song, it was unexpected and a complete delight and I loved the way he performed the song. Till this performance, Hemant was singing typical genre songs, but this one really opened my eyes (and ears) to his versatility.

Worst: Mast Kalandar. Don't get me wrong, it's not like he was bad or anything. But I don't like this song much and all the harkats and everything that Akhtars and he did got a bit too much. It's my least favorite Hemant performance.

Akhtar Bros:

Best: Has to be Deva Shree Ganesha. They brought in the essence of the song - the vibrance, the devotion, the energy - all captured to perfection. To me, they haven't bettered this performance yet.

Worst: Shah ka rutba. I don't know this song and I don't care to know it either. Not enjoyable at all.

Vishnumaya:

Best: This girl has given so many amazing performances - I have loved almost all of them, but if I have to pick one it's have to be Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Her voice was divine, the notes she hit were sheer bliss, she did nothing wrong. Flawless!

Worst: Sona kitna sona hai. She's capable of doing so much better and that too on a song that isn't too demanding. I was most disappointed at this performance of hers.

Zaid Ali:

Best: I was going through the list of songs he's sung and they're pretty much from the same genre. But if I have to pick one stand-out performance it'd probably be Surili Ankhiyon wale.

Worst: I know I'll be in the minority for saying this, but "main nikla gaddi leke" is my least favorite. I don't like this song, never have and I think he hit many wrong notes during this performance. It's just that the song is so popular that everything was overlooked.

Rohanpreet:

Best: I know Dil diyan gallan got him the most votes, but I loved his Ae Zindagi gale laga le. He sounded so effortless and sincere when he sang this and it also helps that I love this song to bits. He also sang Channa mereya very well.

Worst: Has to be yesterday's Jeena Jeena. Sigh!

Chetan:

Best: I have to be honest, I don't enjoy Chetan. But his Haanikaarak Bapu was his best, IMO on this show. The song is well- suited to his voice and isn't too demanding. He pulled it off very well.

Worst: I think Tatad Tatad for me. I was like 😲 when he got tutaaris for this one. It had me shutting my ears in pain.

worst- not listened to them in detail but i think shah ka rutba

vishnumaya-

best- satyam shivam sundaram. all the rest were also good but this was the best

worst -sun raha hai na tu -this too was not bad but comparing other performances

worst- not exactly worst but o re piya because he dint get some notes in the aalaap right
