Hemant is the best singer on the show and he knows it. Dude could do with a little dose of humility. 😃 Not sure if the channel has set him up with the ticket only to make him lose in the finale 😕. Like Lisa pointed out, the same thing happened with Maithili last season. Bannet winning over her was a twist no one expected. Perhaps the channel is going to play games like that again? That's why Singing reality shows leave me disappointed and disillusioned. Everything is rigged. It's all about TRPs. Makes one cynical about watching them ever again. But then I enjoy these discussions. 😛

Vishnumaya's singing appeals to me because of her simplicity. She doesn't try too many harkats, just sticks to the original song most of the time and that's enough to wow the audience. Add to that her voice, which is God's gift. Hemant is the just the opposite. He's accomplished, no doubt, but does every song have to have these Hemantesque harkats all the time? He goes over-board sometimes and that takes away the essence of the song. Less is more and keeping it simple is what appeals - to me, at least! 😳

TRPs rule-Sadly that's the truth about indian television ..Good shows dont run then channel add predictable twists turns melodrama🤪 and trps zoom up..

just look at first rising star-shankar was best judge,gave honest comments constructive criticism👍🏼 ,show had actual blind auditions ,more music less gimmicks-result no TRPs...

So the channel revamped everything this season - no blind audition ,wall has become 'soch ki deewar'🤪, shankar is stuck mostly doing tutaris😵 ,his comments get interupted by overacting fullpower host👎🏼 citing lack of time ,but they have extra time for sindhu tai's item number..They messed up the show with gimmicks but finally got great trps..

I liked maithli the most,sweet kid ,but i never expected her to win because she sang only classical ,hemant has shown much more versatility... ..oh,i liked some of ankita kundus performances too,bennett had some good performances earlier but wasn't that good in finale-lol,that voting meter was totally rigged too😆..

i guess his dosanj name got him votes from diljits 100M+ fans

Shankar has been the most disappointing for me this season. He used to make such insightful comments, used to sing back some portions to let the singers know what they could've done better. The channel is all about getting TRPs for the show, so whatever works. Hemant winning will generate lots of drama and khushi ke aansoo from Senior Brijwasi for sure! 😆 TRP baba will be very happy!! 😛😆😆
