I don't know much about the previous season. Agree on Zaid, his voice will completely change in a bit. Vishnu is top notch. Hemant, to me is amazing as a classical singer, he's yet to prove himself to me as a Bollywood playback singer. Akhtar brothers are fantastic imo...with them too, I'm yet to see them do a soft song or something really different.

one thing is beneficial for girls is that their voice isnt going to change much😆. vishnumaya has proved herself that she can sing any type of song. even the fast paced ones. she has a very beautiful voice too, perfect for playback singing like sonakshi. i hope we get to see more of these girls in future

I think zaid needs to also learn to finish some words properly. I dont know if anyone noticed but he eats up some words in the end. Dosent have the breath to complete them properly or make them audible enough. But i feel he is too young, shreyan was quite far matured as far as understanding, notes etc. His voice is also going to change. Right now i feel zaid is more in love with music than understanding music. he is gifted that is for sure. And i will give it to him to attempt such difficult songs with ease. His "Saiyyan" was the best till far acc to me. he dint even eat up words in that😆

I dont know but something dosent connect me to hemant. either its the channels way of hyping the brijwasis or its just that i cannot feel his songs . there are too much of harkate and the guy seems too overconfident n less humble for his age

Chetan getting a tutari and Rohan and Vishnu not getting one tells me that either Brijwasis are paying Shankar's salary or Shankar is corrupted ..either way I now have no respect for him as a person or a judge

I really really enjoyed Saturdays episode. Most of the performances were good. And most importantly there was more singing and less of drama! 👍🏼 So happy Udit ji came, like I always say, a singers presence changes the atmosphere. Though am I the only one who feels he was kinda ignored at times? 😕

Like LizzieBennett, I was also little confused with the song choices. I feel like all of them should have sung Udit ji's songs. It would have been a sweet little tribute.
Don't get me even started with the judges, I really don't know what they are here for to be honest. Will talk about them later.

To the performances:

Hemant- Another mindblowing performance! Didn't think he would/could sing such kind of song but he did full justice to it. I am also very glad that with every performance he is proving his versitality and singing different genres of songs and actually nailing them!! 👏

Harmony Group- I LOVED their performance SO SO much and I am very sad and disapointed that they had to leave. Musicality wise they are far superior than many of the contestants. I absolutely loved the indian touch with the beethoven mix.
Also why such low percentage -75%?? This was one of their best performances. Really don't understand the percentages to be honest. While Rohanpreet gets 90(!)% for a mediocre performance they can't even reach 80%! 🤔

Zaid- Laal Ishq is one of my most most favorite songs ever. And Zaid sang it so beautifully. In the beginning I feel he was little shaky and unsure but some of the harkatein he took were just bliss. This song and his angelic voice are just the perfect match!! ⭐️

Vishnumaya- This girl is something else!! I didn't know the song so while to listening to her I felt she was good but nothing much this time. But then after listening to orginal and listening to Vishnu again I was mindblown. Such a difficult song performed at such a young age with such efforlessness is a huge accomplishment. 👏👏👏 Also there was no need for her to sing such a difficult song at all and she still did which is highly commendable 👏👏 This girl is going to go places!! But why only 88%?😔 she at least deserved 90%!!!
Also, I want to listen to something more modern from her as I know she will nail it!

Akthar Bros- It was not their best performance for sure but still enjoyed espeically the second part. In the first part I feel they messed up at times but they picked up really fast. So overall a good perfromance. However, I feel like they are becoming little repetitive again. So I hope they sing something very different today.

Chetan- Good and fun performance. 😊 But again, who chooses his songs?? At such time of the show they should give him songs where he can prove his singing and not some fast paced songs that anybody can sing. No doubt he is a great performer, but this is a singing show. They need to stop typecasting him because he can sing much better if given the right songs!!

Rohanpreet- I know I am in the minority but I feel after Afreen he is the weakest contestant. While kids like Vishnumaya and Zaid are taking big risks by singing very difficult songs he is still stuck with his romantic balades. Pehla Nasha is a good song but literally any contestant could have sung it and better. I he wants to stick to his chocolate image, then at least try to sing challeging romantic songs. Also I don't understand how he does the bare minimum and gets 90%. It's really only about looks and image.

He deserves to go next week but I am pretty sure he will reach the finale and win it the way the show is promoting him. 😔

Afreen- I don't know how they manage to make any song sound the same. This is also some kind of art. 😆 Don't have much to say much about them. Harmony should have definitely stayed over them, as they are the far superior group.

To the judges, especially Shankar- when it came between the Harmony and Afreen you guys should have made the right decision and not have voted for Afreen. This show has come to the point where it is not only about hitting the right sur anymore as everyone is a good singer. It's about showing versitality, vocal range, musicality etc. where Harmony was clearly better.

Also I agree with LizzieBennett, they should stop voting for them after seconds the songs start, they should wait and vote a little before it ends.
Diljit swiped green for Rohanpreet right at the beginning and then after the performance he said that his sur at the end were not good 😔😡

Why weren't they singing Udit Narayan songs? I thought they would all sing his songs.
Anyway coming to the performances, some were great, while I didn't like the others. There was just one mediocre performance for me yesterday.

Great performances -
Vishnumaya- this girl can sing almost anything, from classical to a fast paced number. By far she's been the most impressive. I hadn't heard the song, but I was so impressed. She deserved all the tutaaris from yesterday's episode.
Hemant - to say this guy is talented is an understatement. I've read some posts saying his performance yesterday can't be compared to Sonus, but he's Hemant and sang it beautifully his way.
Zaid - this little kid, doesn't know how much talent he has in him. He sings so innocently and probably doesn't even know how beautiful some of his harkats are. He chose a tough song, and when he started I thought he wasn't going to do justice, but by the time he finished I was in awe of that 11 year old. He may have faltered in places, but what he accomplished is beyond me.

Mediocre-
Rohanpreet - lovely song, but rohanpreet clearly is not as strong a singer as they're making him out to be. He is smart in the songs he selects. He will stay thanks to his chocolate boy looks.

Didn't like -

Akhtar brothers - I've always liked them, but yesterday there was something about their performance I didn't enjoy. They sounded to hoarse maybe.

Chetan - he was screaming. And what a horrible song. But I guess that is his comfort zone. He needs to go.

Harmony chorus - I've usually liked them, but yesterday I didn't enjoy it. They were good in parts, but overall they weren't good.

Afreen group - how have they made it so far? It seemed like even Shankar regretted swiping green for them when they were saved.

Episode was really good but I too was expecting that everyone will sing Udit Narayan songs.

Vishnumaya - Always wanted to listen a pure classical song from her. She was just mind blowing. Hats off for choosing such a difficult song when some of contestants are singing same type of relatively easier songs.

Hemant - He is so consistent, not a single average performance so far. He is definitely in top 3 and most probably will be the winner.

Zaid - Loved his performance, it wasn't flawless but still very good. His innocence and his own harakate are his biggest strengths.

Rohanpreet - It was a nice performance, definitely could have been better. It's time for him to do something different and surprise us.

Harmony Chorus - I can't connect with group singing much but they have been way better than the other group. I liked how they present the songs in a unique way. It was unfortunate that they had to leave.


Akhtar Brothers - I usually like their performances but this time don't know why didn't enjoy that much.

Aafreen Group - They sound the same everytime. I am happy that they didn't get tutari this time.

Chetan - Firstly I don't like that song and performance too was not good. Don't know why everyone was praising him so much.
