Hi Guys,
Am I the only one who is a little confused about the judges lately.😕 As much as I love all the judges (maybe Monali a little less because of her insensitive comments lately) they don't really add much to the show do they? Except giving Tutaris and the additional percentages what do they do?

A role of a judge in a way is to guide the contestents and help them improve their singing. But they rarely even give comments to them. Most of the time a performer sings and they either get the percentage or not. There is no real constructive critique to improve the singers. Even if the a singer doesn't get the percentage, the judges don't tell the reason and don't give them e.g tips to better themselves.
I also noticed that Ravi sometimes cuts the judges midway or doesn't let them talk at all.

What do you guys think?

I agree. These judges are only judging the singers but don't give any valuable feedback.
But isn't that the case with most singing reality shows?
Also Ravi often cuts them off because they need to make time for Sindhu tai!

🤣 🤣 So true thougjh!

I agree the judges don't do much. No constructive feedback. But I do think that is the case in all reality shows. Having different judges won't change things much. But maybe if they got someone senior to give takkar to Shankar? Now he clearly leads the way for tutaaris or brickbats and the other two - esp Monali just follow suit. But if they got someone at the same level of experience as Shankar, perhaps we may see some difference of opinion at least. I don't know if that will translate into giving constructive feedback to the contestants though.

I totally feel they are all useless in every way. The most shocking is Shankar, with all his experience and talent, he is so biast and superficial. He has strong likes and dislikes and lots of times his comments are questionable. I wonder if he hears what we hear. Daljit had a mind of his own but lately tails the other two. Monali is the odd one who has literally no expertise or experience and might as well be called Shankar + 1

This is true. In a lot of the reality shows there is no real constructive feedback which is unfortunate.
I have nothing against the judges to be honest, I love all of them and could not imagine anyone else judging Rising Star. I love how Shankar is the senior and follows his mind, and I just love Diljits innocence in a way. He also has a mind of his own, I think he was the only one who swiped green for Raenit on Sunday. It's Monali who has to show more personality and stop following Shankar.
All in all I hope the judges really start giving constructive and helpful feedback to all of the contestents. And Ravi should stop cutting them off. A little less Sindhu Tai won't hurt anybody. 😆😛

My detailed views on judges

Shankar M

Strong likes/dislkes makes him biast (Chetan Brijwasi & Afrooni group obsession)

Brijwasi family bhakth (is it not obvious?)

Tutari king (tutaris are now being distributed just for the sake of it...did Chetan really deserve one this week with early 80 % scores?)

Announcing competition "abhi tough ho raha hai" constantlywhen his guilt takes over

Very rare meaningful and helpful comments

Fake, after voting down Shashank by 15 votes, he has a nerve to say that Shashank did not need to go ...

Monali

Shankar's tail, monkey see monkey do

Cannot speak or say anything logical if her life depended on it

Should have been an actress rather than singer, great drama queen

Waste of judge's chair

Daljit

Votes ka Santa Clause

Fav tag line, dil ko chooa vs dil ko nai chhoa

Lost his mind and opinion about judging (which he had once upon a time), now he tails Mona darling, who tails Shankar ... so he tails Shankar indirectly

The judges panel

Half the eposodes are wasted on silly masti, tutari dances and Sindhu tai rather than mentoring the contestants

Waste of 15 votes which are mainly controlled by one man, who uses favoritism rather than honesty

Diljit is not a trained singer and monali even if she is trained has zero knowledge about technical aspects of music. There should have been someone else to team.up with shankar.
