Flawed format

Whoever decided on the format for the duels round paid more attention to the drama factor than music and talent 😵. Contestants getting 60% getting selected over contestants getting 80-90 👎🏼. Diljit wondering what is happening 🤪 and Ravi saying 'this is the format' 🥱.

well said... it was so frustating to see someone with 59 marks get chosen while the guy who sang a difficult classical song get eliminated eventhough he got 70 odd marks...
eve the duals takkar pairing was not that good... or atleast they should allow both the singers to sing the same song... so that viewers can pick the best perfirmer

Everyone should've sung. And the 16 with the highest scores should've gone through and rest eliminated

Yes. This is the best way to select top 16.

I also think Jidges comments and support has zero logic. Shankar bhagwan is the top guns and his support depends on his dices, So far it's hard to predict who his highness will support, Monali is monkey see monkey do with absolutely no opinion of her own but to tail Shankar. Daljit used to be giving away votes like mandir ka prasad but now kind of tails the other two (or actually one)
Yesterday's last performance by Sagar and Aman's votes meter jumping to 80+ from being stuck at 35, right after Shankar gave a hands up was the miracle of the century. Kaala mein kuch daal hai bhai
I would love to see different judges next season, someone like Vishal Dadlani, Palak Munchl etc

The show is rigged! No transparency in voting (I highly doubt it's live). Also, the channel intervenes by suddenly increasing percentage of votes. Last season some contestants cleared auditions but were not seen post that. So basically, audience has little to no power.

You are right. It is more like a game than real singing competition. This does more to the show itself since it creates the interest in audience and rings TRPs but it is contestants who lose.

Yea, a girl Dipsikha who got selected but I never saw her afterwards.Many ppl on YouTube were asking abt the same. There were couple of others too.
