Mr. Kashyap looked at her daughter sitting on her favourite swing at back of their garden smiling to herself...he sighed in relief as after long he cud feel her daughter genuinely happy & relaxed...how he had missed her daughter's smile, her chirpiness, her laughter...all these years, he had wished to see her daughter happy... after his wife passed away, its only been he & Ananya to call each other's own...& it had taken lot of persuasion & emotional blackmail to make Ananya return back home...& since then, like any other father he had desired to see her daughter settle down in her life, but Ananya had only refused & rejected every single person he made her meet...

He had even asked Kabir to convince Ananya...but even he cudn't...only to gradually realise that his daughter's main reason of rejecting everyone else is Kabir himself...& as a father, he cant be more happy & proud of her choice, as he has known Kabir professionally all these years...but he also is aware of Kabir's apprehensions, which was clear when he had came to talk to him...
He understood where Kabir was coming from...but as a father he wanted his daughter's happiness...


Mr. Kashyap--Kabir, main tumhe is rishte ko accept karne ke liye force nahi kar sakta, aur agar inkaar karoge toh tumhe blame bhi nahi kar sakta...bas, itna keh sakta hoon ki, jo hua woh hua Kabir, life mein ek kharab situation, ek bura experience ki wajah se hum zindagi mein aage badhna nahi chod sakte... shayad zindagi tumhe khud ek aur mauka de rahi hai...(sighed) You can call me selfish as a father, par Kabir...Ananya tumse pyaar karti hai, aur agar tum haan karoge toh I will be the happiest father...aur main apni ziddi beti ko bhi janta hoon, woh tumhara inkaar accept kar legi, par kisi aur se shadi nahi karegi, ab tak tum bhi yeh baat samajh gaye hoge...Faisla tumhara hoga Kabir, main sirf itni madad kar sakta hoon, ki Ananya ko convince kar sakta hoon ki tumse shadi ki zidd chod de, par woh kabhi khush nahi rahegi (smiled) woh tumhe apna sabse acha dost kehti hai...& I dont think tum nahi chahoge woh khush na ho...aur tum inkaar karoge, toh apni aur Ananya dono ko zindagi ko aage badhne se rok doge...

Kabir (sighed)--Par uncle woh nahi janti, Itne saal woh yaha nahi thi...use nahi pata...

Mr. Kashyap (interrupted)--kya nahi pata ki, tum divorced ho?? come on Kabir, yeh national secret nahi hai...Dont tell me, you still live in 18th century jaha, second marriages are cultural shock...

Kabir gaped at Mr. Kashyap, how lightly he is taking the idea of his only daughter marrying a divorced man & also other reasons being their where a father shud oppose a daughter's choice...but Kabir realised being a father, he will always support his daughter...

Mr. Kashyap"apni beti ki is khoobsurat smile par "Coffee"...(Ananya smiled back at him & taking coffee mug from him) aadhi jung jeet li hai!!! Happy now!!!

Ananya (smiled)"thanks to you, agar aap unhe convince nahi karte Mr. Sharma kabhi nahi mante...

Mr. Kashyap--& cant blame him for that...Kabir ne jo kuch experience kiya hai...uske baad uske liye kisi par vishwaas karna, ek rishte mein bandhna bahut mushkil tha...aur jitna main Kabir ko janta hoon, who mere convince karne se zyada...tumhara uspar jo vishwaas hai, uski wajah se convince hua hai...(sighed) but seriously beta, I hope tumne yeh faisla soch samajhkar liya hai...I am not questioning your decision Anu, (teased) coz you know tujhse zyada Kabir mujhe pasand hai...& I know, he is gem of a person...but phir bhi, hope you do realize its not gonna be easy, sirf Kabir ke liye hi nahi ...but tumhare liye...

Ananya"sirf isliye, ki woh divorced hai...(sighed) par Dad does it make a difference? Aap hi chahte the na, ki main apne liye acha partner choose karun...jo mujhe pasand ho!! (laughed) & had told you, Sir toh mujhe saalon pehle se pasand the...its just, ki unse milne mein, love story ko poora karne mein 10 saal lag gaye...(smiled) woh aaj bhi wohi Kabir hai, jinse maine pyaar kiya tha...bas, itne saalon mein shayad muskurana bhool gaye hai...aur kuch nahi badla...

Ananya smiled back at her Dad, remembering "Aryan"...the charming cutie she has met two years back...meeting whom first time, she never thought wud play such an integral part in her love story...& will be the only one who will turn out to be a big reason to bring her & Kabir together...

Kabir stood lost in thoughts leaning against the window, sighing to himself...pondering over events of the day...what surprised him that it was"like daughter like father, he thought atleast Uncle will understand where he is coming from, atleast he wud stop Ananya & will make her understand to give up her decision...but it really surprised Kabir that more than Ananya, Uncle sounded more excited for this marriage to happen...& instead of agreeing to convince Ananya, he in turn was convincing him to say yes...
He was startled out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder, he sighed to himself as he recognized that teasing smirk on his Madhu Di's face

Di"kamaal hai, aisi shakal patiyon ki shadi ke baad hoti hai...abhi toh sirf shadi paki hui hai...tumne abhi se shakal par barah baja rakhe hai...(Kabir glared at her) Sorry, bad joke...but seriously baat kya hai??

Di (smiled)"Nahi, kyunki jaha se main dekh rahi hoon...waha se mujhe apne bhai ki life settle hote huye dikh rahi hai...(smiled) uska aaj, mujhe is baat ki umeed deta hai, ki uska aane wala kal aur bhi acha hoga...aur guess main tension free hosakti ho...ki mujhe apne bhai ki fikr karne ki zarut nahi hai...kyunki koi hai, jo uska mujhse bhi zyada khayal rakhega...(winked) mujhse zyada usse pyaar karta hai...

Kabir (rolled his eyes)"Di, aap Ananya ke saath zyada time spend karne lagi hai...uska kafi asar aane laga hai aap par...

Di"Toh, tumhe toh khush hona chaiye...ki tumhari hone wali biwi ko tumhari behan se koi problem nahi hai...(Madhu bit her tongue, as she realized what she had said, as she had touched a sore topic) Sorry, I mean...

Kabir (interrupted)"aap kyun sorry keh rahi hai...Sach toh sach rahega...ki Ananya humari zindagi mein Neha ki jagah legi...poori zindagi, Ananya ko isi sach ke saath jeena hoga...aur sab kuch samajhte huye bhi, use is shadi ki zidd hai...usse sab kuch asaan lag raha hai...she is not realizing, how she will be seen as a replacement...aur sabse badi problem khud Ananya hai, ki use ek divorced aadmi se shadi karni hai...jo ek shadi nahi sambhal paaya, who dusri kya sambhalega...par Ananya samajhne ko taiyaar nahi hai...uski yeh zidd, yeh bachpana ...is something beyond my understanding... ...(sighed) woh yeh sab deserve nahi karti...

Kabir (pissed off)"pyaar vyaar kuch nahi hota Di, hota bhi hai, toh tabhi tak hota hai, jab tak rishte mein nahi bandhta...jaise hi rishte mein bandhta hai...zimmedariyan aati hai...sab pyaar khatam ho jata hai...aur waqt ke saath rishte bhi khatam hojate hai...(smirked) aur Love, now I'm over Love...dobara nahi hoga...

Di (interrupted)"Dats where you are going wrong Kabir, tum apne aaj ko apne beete huye kal se compare kar rahe ho...& I am not getting why? Tum mujhe jante ho Kabir... I'm not the one to give philosophical advices...its never been my cup of tea...I only know one thing, ki jab Ananya ko koi problem nahi hai...toh tum khud kyu itne negative ho rahe ho?? Phir bhi Tum compare karna hi chahte ho, toh Ananya ke aane se pehle aur ab ki zindagi mein compare karo... In do saalon mein, Ananya ki wajah se tumhari life kitni better hui hai...use compare karo...& then decide...& I am sure, aisa toh hai nahi, ki tumhe Ananya pasand nahi... (for a brief moment a twinkle came to his eyes, one that Madhu had never seen before)usme koi kami hai?? I don't think you have a problem with her...Do you??(smirked) Aur yeh sab wajah tumhare liye Ananya ke saath rishte ko accept karne ke liye kaafi nahi hai...toh sabse important reason ...Aryan!!... usse badi wajah shayad tumhare liye koi nahi hogi... (Madhu turned to leave when she felt Kabir holding her hand)

Kabir (sighed)"but aren't we being selfish Di ??

Madhu (smiled)"ofcourse, hum sab selfish hai...isliye nahi, ki hum kisiko khush dekh nahi sakte...par isliye kyunki humari khushiya kisi ke bina adhuri hai...jaise Ananya tumhare bina khush nahi rahegi, aur na hi tum...aur mera bhai khush nahi toh... main bhi nahi...& as for you being done & over with Love, I can only say stop being cynical...& most importantly stop trying to find a reason...ki Ananya tumse pyaar kyun karti hai...(teased) Whats not to love about you... We all do...(winked)...

Kabir gave her a small smile at hearing that...& Madhu left him wishing goodnight...Before shutting the door, she once again glanced back at Kabir...& she was glad that atleast he is pondering over what she had said & seeing his expression she knew she had made the right move...& she sighed in relief that everything is settling back in her brother's life...

Madhu cant help but agree with Kabir's comment of being selfish, he had been right, ofcourse she had been selfish, as a sister she wants her brother to be happy... & Madhu silently thanked Mr. Kashyap, if it had not been him, she wud have never realized, out there have been Ananya who loved her brother...she still remembers her meet with Mr. Kashyap...how gradually their conversation had shifted from business matters to concern of a worried father of a girl who doesn't want to marry inspite of making her meet many prospective partners...& it had been few days later she herself had bumped into Ananya, in Kabir's office...& had taken instant liking for the girl & gradually realized that this girl had been heads over heels in love with her brother...

Its been two years since Ananya came in their life... & she had seen change in her brother... he seemed to be calmer, happier and a bit more relaxed...infact the whole office had noticed it as well...their usually strict "Kabir Sharma" had become a bit more cheerful... which was welcomed throughout the office...

But as a sister she also knew her brother well, his apprehensions of being in relationship...& she knew he will never take the initiative to go ahead for marriage... second time...So, it had been her who at every given opportunity boosted Ananya's confidence to be the one to convince Kabir...

Love Ananya's father. He seems more excited then Ananya😆😆😆.. So we have a fanboy for Kabir😆😆.. Tough competition for us now.

Kabir's di's concern for kabir.. Want to see her brother settle down...

I guess Aryan is Kabir's son. That's why kabir is more tensed I think..
