Part 16
Whole day had passed, and Ananya didn't come in front of Kabir...Kabir knew that she was trying to avoid him, because she knew that he had an idea about her feelings...Kabir didn't want to force her but, he also couldn't sit quietly and just wait for ages for her to admit her feelings for him...He was going to play along but, he was also going to have fun with the situation...Obviously he was Kabir Sharma after all...
It was 5:30pm, Ananya was in her office, concentrated on her files...Kabir was observing her from his office, hoping at least she would look his way once...But, she was so nervous, that she didn't even have the gutts to look towards his office door...
Kabir picked up his phone, still looking in her direction...The phone was ringing, Ananya knew who it was and her hand was shaking, but she still picked up the call...On the other side of the phone...
Kabir: Ms. Kashyap, can you please come to my cabin...
Ananya: yes sir...
She slowly got up from her chair, still not looking towards his cabin, and slowly started to walk towards his cabin, looking down at the floor...He was observing her throughout, and was just smirking looking at her condition...the tigeress he met was now a blushing nervous girl...and he was enjoying it so much...
Ananya reached his desk, and Kabir was just staring at her, while she was looking down at the floor...
Ananya (found courage to say): ji sir, aapne bulaya...
Kabir still starring at her, got up from his chair, and walked towards her, going around her, to the other side of her, and leaned on the desk with his back leaning on it...
Kabir (starring at her intensely, leaning on desk so close to her): ji Ms. Kashyap, aaj ki kya progress report hai...
Ananya (looking anywhere but at him): sir aaj mehta's ki deal final ho chooki hai, unka paper work ho chooka hai, bas aapki signature ki zaroorat padegi...
Kabir (came slided slightly close to her on the desk): aur
Ananya (getting nervous): aur sir Singhanias hamare terms and conditions ko accept karne ke liye tiyaar hai, lekin woh chahte hain ki yeh project aap khood present karein unko...
Kabir (came even close and whispered): aurrr...
Ananya got so nervous, she tried to move backward but, almost slipped, and held on to the table with her hand to stabilize herself...
Kabir: Careful Ms. Kashyap, itna bhi mat kho jaiye ki aapko chot lag jaye...and smirked
Ananya just nodded, while still having her hand on the table...
Kabir: Aur Ms. Kashyap??
Ananya opened her mouth to say the next thing, and as she was saying
Kabir put his hand on top of her hand...Ananya's words just couldn't find a way to come out...As it is, she was not able to face him, and his intense gazes, and here he was just having fun in this situation, not even realizing what his touch was doing to her...
Ananya looked towards him but, he was pretending to not know what he was doing, and was looking away while his hand was on top of hers...he was pretending as if he didn't know that he had placed his hand on top of her hand on the table...And here Ananya just was dying feeling nervous, shy, not being able to handle all that was happening...
Looking away from her, and his hand still fixed on hers...
Kabir: Kya hua Ms. Kashyap, aap bolte bolte rook kyon gayi...aur aage bataiye...
Ananya struggling to get her hand out from under his...
Ananya: Sir woh...woh...(still struggling to get her hand back, while he held on even tighter, not letting it go...and still looking away from her smirking, pretending not to know what was happening)
Kabir: woh woh kya, Ms. Kashyap...aage bataiye (he was having way too much fun seeing her in this condition, he pressed his hand hard on her, as she was struggling hard to get out)
Ananya: Sir pleaseee...
Kabir (now looked her way, bringing his face close to hers, while Ananya was still looking down at the floor, and whispered): please kya Ananya?
His breath was fanning on her face...Ananya was breathing heavily but, was looking down, as she couldn't meet his eyes...
Kabir (whispered again): bolona, please kya???
bending his face down to meet her eyes which were starring at the floor...
Kabir (whispered again, and raised his eyebrow in question mark): kya???
Ananya couldn't handle his closeness, and harshly pulled her hand from under his, and ran out from his office blushing...she quickly grabbed her bag from her desk, and ran out of her office, just so she didn't have to face him like this...
Kabir just smirked, and brushed his hand through his hair, seeing his affect on her...smiled...looking in her direction...
Ananya went home, and she just crashed in her bed, blushing at the events that took place...and talking to herself...
Ananya: Kabir sir bhi naa...kooch samajhte nahin hai...and hid her face in the pillow...
On the other hand, Kabir was lying in his bed, and he was remembering her...And how she was sleeping next to him...
Kabir: Ananya mein tumse accept karva kar hi choodunga...i will have you in my arms soon...
Both dozed off thinking about the other...
Next morning, Ananya reached the office...Everyone was busy discussing about something...She just went inside her office without talking to anyone, and started working on her files...It was afternoon, but, there was no sign of Kabir...She was kind of missing him and was feeling restless...
Ananya stepped out of her cabin...
Ananya: Richa, yeh sab kya batein ho rahi hai...
Richa: tujhe nahin pata?
Ananya: kya nahin pataa?
Richa: aaj Kabir sir ne sabko party throw ki hai unke ghar pe...You know the Sharma Mansion...aaj tak aisa kabhi nahin hua, so everyone is so excited...
Ananya: oh accha?
Richa: haan yaar, aur pata its a theme party...Girls are to wear red or white sarees, and boys will be in tuxedo's...its a indio-western fusion with masquerade theme...
Ananya: kis khushi mein hai yeh party?
Richa: woh Kabir sir ne ek aur company ko take over kiya haina, ussi khushi main...
Ananya was thinking as to why he kept the party at his mansion...she was very nervous about going to his mansion, and was afraid to be there in front of him...
Richa: kis soch mein pad gayi?
Ananya: kooch nahin Richa, janaa zaroori hai kya? ma aur Armaan bhi ghar pe nahin hai...can I not come?
Richa: don't be silly, maa aur armaan ghar pe nahin hai, tabhi toh tumhe zaroor aana chahiye...ghar par akele reh kar kya karegi??? please come naa, i really want you to come...
Ananya: ok ok meri maa, mein aaungi...
Richa: Promise
Ananya: haan baba promise...
Everyone went to their houses early, so they can reach the venue on time as Kabir was a very punctual man...
Guests started to arrive at the Sharma mansion...Women were dressed in saris, and man in black tux...all of them were given masks at the entry...
In came Ananya, in a gorgeous red sari, with open back blouse...Looking gorgeous as ever...Two pair of eyes were on her as she stepped into the Sharma mansion...Kabir was just waiting for her from the top, and saw her coming in...the person at the gate gave her a very nice mask...Everyone was in a mask, so it was hard to recognize who was who...Kabir also joined the party wearing the mask...
Everyone was enjoying, and the singer on the stage announced for everyone to join the dance floor...The masks were given such that, a male and a female could be paired up for the dance with the matching masks...Ananya was so nervous...
She was about to leave the dance floor, when a gentleman came to her wearing the same mask, dressed in beautiful black tux...looking handsome as ever...He put his hand forward to ask Ananya for a dance...Ananya was hesitant, but, still she accepted his hand, and started dancing with the man...The lights were dimmed and soothing romantic music was playing in the background...The man grabbed her by her waist, and brought her close...and his one hand grabbed on to her other hand, he started swaying her back and forth...Ananya couldn't recognize who it was because of the mask, but, despite being so close, she didn't feel uncomfortable in his arms...She was wondering who it was...
The man brought her very close, and whispered in her ear...
Man: kya soch rahi ho, Ananya?
Ananya was shocked, the man was no other than Kabir Sharma...
Ananya: sir aap???
Kabir: kyon, why are you so surprised??? (saying this he brought her very close to her, their bodies were almost hugging each other's)
Ananya tried to get away from him, but, he had her trapped in his firm grip...
Kabir swayed her, and danced with her...while Ananya was so conscious that it was him who she was dancing with...She was unable to handle his touch, she was unable to face his intense gaze...but, Kabir just wasn't letting her go...
Soon everyone got tired, and they got off the dance floor, and only two people left were Ananya and Kabir...
And a song started playing from movie Kooch kooch hota hai...
Tum pass aaye, yun muskuraye, tumne najanee kya sapne dikhaye (from the rain sequence where Kajol and Shahrukh were dancing)...
Ananya tried to get away from Kabir, but, he held both her hands from the back...he brought her close from the back...and wrapped his hands around her...and swayed side by side...his face was in the nook of her neck from behind...
he turned her around, and grabbed her by the waist, and brought her even closer, and started dancing with her on the music...it was a very hot passionate dance where Ananya was trying to escape from his grip, and he kept on bringing her closer and closer...soon the music ended, and everyone present clapped for their performance...
Both kabir and Ananya came out from their worlds, and Ananya was very embarrassed that she ran from there...dimmed lights were turned on again, and everyone started enjoying the party...
Kabir sneaked out of the party, and went after her...Ananya was running away from everyone to find a quiet place, where she could just hide...She was so embarrassed, she just didn't want to face anyone and definitely not Kabir...
As she was running down the corridor, trying to find a place to hide, she felt a pull...A hand pulled her into a room...And the owner of the hand, quickly closed the door...grabbing her with one hand, and closing the door with other...
Ananya, was about to scream, but, a hand covered her mouth...As she looked toward the owner of the hand, she realized it was Kabir...
Kabir: sshhh...mein hooonnn...
Ananya pushed him away...
Ananya (Not meeting his gaze): yeh aap kya kar rahe hain?
Kabir (took a step towards her): kya kar raha hoon?
Ananya( took a step back): please aap aisa mat kijiye...
Kabir( took several steps towards her and she stepped back and hit the wall): aisa maine kya kar diya Ananya?
She tried to get away from the side, but, he blocked her...
She tried to get away from the other side, he put his other hand there...
Kabir (whispered): bolona aisa meine kya kar diya??
Ananya (looking down at the floor): please mujhe jaane dijiye...
Kabir: (nodding in a no)...pehle batao aisa meine kya kar diya...
his hands were on either side of her, blocking her from leaving...and he came closer to her...
Kabir: bolonaaa...
Ananya (whispered): pleaseee...
Kabir slid his both arms from her hands upto her face slowly...Ananya took a deep breath in, and closed her eyes...
He brought his both hands to her face, holding her face with both his hands, and brought it up to face him but, Ananya had closed her eyes...
Kabir (whispered): Aankhe kholo Ananya...
Ananya was so flustered, she was so nervous, that she just couldn't find the courage to open her eyes to face him...in her nervousness, tears trickled down from her eyes onto her face...
Kabir: please Ananya, daro mat, please mere liye aankhe khol do...
Bringing her face up by her chin with both his hands...pleasee
Ananya nodded in a no...and few more tears trickled down her face...
Kabir couldn't handle it, and he brought his lips on to her cheeks to wipe away her tears with his lips...he licked her tears away, and drank them in..
Ananya's face was as red as cherry tomatoes...and she just shied away and tried to walk away from him from the side, with her eyes closed...
He grabbed her arm from the side...
