After 2 years hiatus from acting on TV, where her fervent fans missed her immensely, our darling princess Kritika Kamra is back in a TVshow based on scribes to woo her audience with her acting prowess which is remarkably wonderful, her iconic beauty which is mesmerisingly graceful, her scintillating smile which is vibrance personified and her lustrous eyes which always convey a thousand words. Kritika will be essaying Ananya Kashyap, a budding Reporter with a soft heart but with a strong ideology.
Aptly regarded as the "Fourth Estate" since more than 2 centuries, the News Media is undoubtedly the most powerful entity controlling the mind of the masses. Considering its massive societal and political influence, the great author Oscar Wilde wrote in his times: "Journalism the fourth estate. That was true at the time no doubt. But at the present moment it is the only estate. It has eaten up the other three and we are dominated by Journalism."
In the complex and cut throat world of journalism, where there is no right or wrong way of looking at news and life, having an eye for news and an understanding of what makes headlines is what sets seasoned journalists apart from their counterparts. And to learn the tricks of this trade, Ananya Kashyap joins the illustrious News Channel KKN as a trainee journalist.
Ananya is a strong willed girl, passionate about her work and dreams of making it big in the fierce world of TV journalism. This aspiring reporter is a loyal and emotional girl who trusts people easily and has strong work ethics. She is intuitive and impulsive girl and is a fan of Editor-in-chief of the news channel she works for. However, due to contradicting principles and work ethics, the two develop instant disliking for each other from the time they lay eyes on each other but eventually fall in love. The story of Reporters will showcase how these two opinionated individuals come together and embark on undulating journey of discovery, amidst all the controversies. The handsome Editor in Chief and his bubbly effervescent intern are going to rock big time with their fiery onscreen chemistry and passionate romance in this completely different genre of a show.
Kritika has always been media-friendly without any hangups of being a successful star. This will surely help her in playing the role of a budding journalist with poise and elan. Her unbridled genius and talent deserved a powerful role, not for her the rut saas bahu sagas. She has impressed her innumerable fans with her diverse performances and has always stolen the show with her stimulating renditions. We, her die hard fans have always waited with bated breath for her come back on our screens with a role which suits her ebullient nature. Her spirited energy, acting finesse and graceful panache will be on full display as she dons the mantle of an aspiring television News anchor.
Waiting eagerly for Ananya Kashyap to send sparks flying with her role in this action packed serial, where we will witness how journalism is played by two very strong and excellent actors with romance brewing. Monday really never seemed so far, so far!
