Razia Sultan to end in September?

Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively informed that &TV's show Razia Sultan (Swastik Productions) will soon go off air.

The historical tale of Warrior Princess Razia whose remarkable valour and strength brought her on pages of history books, could not garner the expected popularity among viewers.

Shared a source, "With the show not managing to get TRPs, the makers and channel have decided to pull the plug off the show."

As speculated, Razia Sultan will bid farewell to TV screens sometime in September.

The source also added that the creatives are playing with the track and soon Razia (Pankhuri Awasthy) will be seen becoming the sultan. This would mark a logical end to the storyline.

An actor on account of annonimity shared, "There has been hush-hush talks happening on the sets but nothing ia confirmed yet. Although we hope the show continues to run, the way the story line is being fast forwarded we can sense it coming to an end."

Pankhuri and other actors remained unavailable to comment.

We also dropped a text message to Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary but did not get a revert till the time of filing the story.
