Appreciate the fact that experimenting with different characters has been Neil's frame of work. As regards to following his work after Gulaal, TRPs are a forgotten issue, especially of late. At least I won't wish to see him in a poorly conceived show with sky-rocketing TRP as it runs the risk of being aired for long number of years.
Having said that, I must also mention that the interest to earn name and fame will drive any individual to perform better and improve. If an artiste is inspired or motivated to work in a role that provides creative satisfaction to one's own self only, it is more likely a personal achievement. As far as viewer's satisfaction is concerned, I feel there is lot more to the character Lakshman than what is currently been presented by the team.
Agreed that Delhi and India as a nation is in dire need of some spiritual progress and enlightenment, that shapes people into sensitive individuals and responsible citizens, but I am worried why a major portion of the citizens at Delhi couldn't differentiate between real gods and the artistes portraying them. This accounts for display of blind and misplaced faith.
