i still dont find much resemblance mainly coz sunil's face is chubby...

@arti..y do u ask such logical questions hahahahaha..see even rishi ji asked lakshmana to take care of her...so ramji is just relaxed coz he knows when lakshman is there no fear...

Another thing is lakshman is synonym for PROTECTOR particularly of women. Dint we read he punishes those who have evil eyes for women

I wonder if this is a symbolism for why Sita Ma was abducted by Ravan. While Lakshman was there, it would have been impossible for him to take her, so Ravan had to think of a plan what would take Lakshman away from the cottage after Ram.

Yes Janaki .sita's abduction was impossible
In presence of ram or lakshman. So scenario had to be created where first ram
Was tactically taken away from
the scene followed by lakshman

Oh arti I also want to see lakshman building cottage at chitrakoot. Do you know if they showed in 1986 version then atleast we can have a hope to get such scene. Additionally , I want to see kund creation by lakshman too.

They showed this scene both in the 1986 and 2008 versions, and both versions showed it very nicely.😊 In the 2008 one, they even showed Lakshman cleaning the cottage and making it nice before showing it to Ram and Sita, and then afterwards they showed a cute Ram-Lakhan scene where Ram praises Lakshman and Lakshman becomes all shy. I sooo wish they do this later on, when the trio reach Panchavati. The cottage now isn't important since they'll be moving once Bharat leaves, and poor Lakshman's hard work would be in vain.😆

About 1986 was coz it was weekly show. The other one as we know was daily
So they had detailed episodes . Anyways if zee can dedicate 20
Minutes for Ravan then there is no excuse if they skip the scenes like building cottage etc.
Hope they will show it

Yeah, if they can take up so much time for Ravan then they have no excuse to skip this scene. It's mentioned in all the versions of Ramayana I think. It's a pretty special scene because it highlights the kind of service Lakshman did during vanvaas. If they take out all these scenes where Lakshman serves Ram and Sita, viewers who are new to Ramayana won't learn what a great and loyal brother he was. You guys should post on Zee's wall and mention this scene specifically so that the Sagars understand that viewers really want to see it.
