Even though we know we can watch the show over and over....somehow, the last epi always gives that nostalgic feeling, as if it's ending for the final time.
The last song Jai Jagadhish Hare is just soo wholesome! ❤️

I watched it again this morning.
Feeling something is missing
What exactly?
I would have liked to see more of post-Sita bhumi pravesh scenes, with Ram and his brothers conquering other kingdoms for their sons.

They didn't show that
.
It was shown as Valmiki ji mentioning the that various regions given to their sons while he was writing it
Then they showed the Pratayarparan of Lakshman and then Mahaprasthan of Ram with brothers and Ayodhya vasis

I know, I'm just saying I would have liked to see that. Most shows and movies rush the mahaprasthaan after Sita's bhumi pravesh. I wish there was a show that gave details on Luv Kush's relationship with their father, uncles and aunts while living in Ayodhya.
I know there was a show on Luv Kush in Star Plus. I never watched it because of my lack of faith in these new mythos, lol...they tend to show more fiction than fact, but did anyone see it?

That has taken Maha creative liberty. Chitraketu Pushkar Taksh and sons of Shatrughan study in Valmiki Ashram.
They have some attitude of being princes.
By chance I saw two-three scenes with my grandmother and I was shocked at what the hell they were showing.U wouldn't believe they were showing other brother's sons as being jealous of luv-kush and also plotting against them and giving some evil kinda smirk.uff!I mean how can bharatji, lakshmanji and shatrughanji's sons can be suchOriginally posted by: RamKiSeeta

Oh Lord! 🥱 And this is why I don't see the newer mythos. After 2008, another Ramayan hasn't been made that even remotely did justice to the epic and its characters.
I hope that these reruns of the older mythos teaches the new directors a lesson - they don't need to make up shyte to attract audience and gain TRPs. A show that was first aired in the 80s, with minimal technology and effects, way outpaced all the newer shows which utilize maximum technology/effects but don't give any respect to the epic whatsoever. People can no longer claim RSR was "famous back in the day". It is famous now too....so please people, if you're going to make Ramayan again and again, it's totally fine and welcomed (because who can ever tire of the epic?), but don't compromise on the story for the lesser important aspects, because that will not gain any popularity whatsoever. Current ratings have proven it. 😉
And that's the end of my rant lol.
