Krishna's wife Lakshmana is named Charuhasini in the show so that viewers don't get confused. But yeah, ur idea is pretty cool. 😄

Oh no they missed a good scene here

But I think they kept it deliberately to avoid confusion

Bhanumati is undoubtedly most important being Lakshmana and Lakshman's mother. Maybe other wives didn't bear him children/bore only daughters so never was important enough to be mentioned

Aside Odiya Mahabharat retelling have Duryodhan loving her the most. Maybe she was his favorite

Saying that not having other wives doesn't mean they didn't enjoy the company of Dasis. He was definitely not asking her for a respectful position of a wife to Draupadi, he definitely meant it

I was half sarcastic.

Wondering if they enjoyed the company of Dasis then why was Shantanu so lovesick?

Oh no didn't mean it that way

Jokes apart I genuinely feel Duryodhan was into Lakshmana but unfortunately he couldn't win her Swayamvar

Adhoora one sided pyar made him go mad

Else who names their children Lakshman and Lakshmana

And the show makers got the idea for me

But yes I actually liked this one thanks for the link

I would try to write one OS on this too

I had actually thought her being helped by Vrishketu her foster cousin and recently found nephew of Pandavas, who was there with Pandavas having no other option but actually had hatred for Pandavas and Krishna but Meghvarnan seems a good support option too.

I wouldn't do it though, I don't want Lakshmana to side with someone who killed Vrishsen's son because I always have imagined karna's and Duryodhan's children to bffs of each other like their respective father with Lakshmana and Lakshman seeing Vrishsen as their elder brother 🥰🥰

Yaar come on Dasis can't take place of wife

Wives were their friend, companion, Dasis were only to spend time and enjoy

Shantanu would have been love stuck and missing a companion not like suffering from physical deprivation

This can be dedicated to Swastik.

Achha, I have read that Janaka sent many Dasis with Sita during her Bidayi.

Were they just Dasis? Or were they Dasis like Vidura and Yuyutsu's mothers?

Do you really think a daasi/fisherwoman's father would have the power to demand throne for unborn grandsons or Shantanu would be so love sick as to keep quiet while his good son is deprived of his rights

Satyavati was chedi king Uparichara Vasu's biological daughter. Uparichara Vasu had 5 more sons (one of them who was twin of Satyavati was made king of Matsya). The eldest inherited Chedi. The other three were Kings of Malla Vatsa and Magadha.

Satyavati was only sister of 5 powerful kings that surrounded kuru territory on 5 sides.

She had a skin disease at birth that gave her fish like smell hence named Matsyagandha that Parasara father of Vyasa cured in return for giving him a son Vyasa. The reason for her living with fisherfolk

It was only after that she became a sweet smelling lady good enough to be queen of Hastinapur

There was no love there but politics purely
