Well my first question:

Yudhisthira lied about Ashwatthama death to disarm Drona. They(Arjuna at least) did not expect that Dhrishtadyumna would kill him. So what did they expect? Sooner or later Drona would know that his son is alive. Or was it illegal to take up arms after giving it up once?

As I promised to Storm, started writing this OS . Here is the teaser.😃 Shall I continue , or it is boring??

*********

Standing in that spectacular landscape of yellow flowering creepers emerging from the greenery of trees, Radha, holding Krishna's flute, has donned her divine lover's peacock-feather crown and saffron-colored dhoti.Blue- complexioned Krishna in turn, wearsRadha's earrings, red skirt, blouse, and transparent shawl. Holding hands, the two gazed into one another's eyes and smiled blissfully! The smile projected life in all its realities!!

“Syama Radha , take corrective measures Priya… cover your bossom with that veil properly, Radha never walks like a lioness, your Radha sway like a tender creeper while walking on the bank of river Yamuna to meet you!” Radha couldn’t resist a gentle tease!!

She wears his peacock feather, he dons her lovely, delicate crown; She sports his yellow garment, he wraps himself in her beautiful sari How charming the very sight of it. . . River Yamuna exulted with wavelets while watching them in that mood! The daughter of Vrsabhanu turned into Nanda's son , and Nanda's son, into Vrsabhanu's girl!----- to be continued , have to correct the sentences too....

Vyapti, since ancient times there is an unwritten law--- everything is fair in war and love! 😊God put his step forward to define the defining moment of a particular incident , which is necessary to eliminate an eminent warrior, otherwise, he will kill the Pandavas including Arjuna. To be precise, the Kaurava sena has more winners in their side than the other side ,i.e Pandava side, Krishna knows it , he is undoubtedly a manipulator--[Storm, Vyapti ] that is why he has taken the side of Pandavas to lead them to victory' by all means '

Another logical point here is Drona was a brahmin who should live a pious life, but with envy he wanted to get royal status, which was denied by Drupad , [ a point to ponder here on this issue] and you all must know the later story. Drona has chosen the wrong side to fight in the Mahabharatha war , so he deserves to die, for which divine intervention was needed. In a hurry, given this answer, can't deviate my attention for that romantic mood 😃 Have to go back there to complete that dress code story...

Madhuri I did not question Krishna's fairness here. Of course he wanted Drona to be killed and it was necessary for his purpose too.

Wanted to know Pandavas logic since they only wanted to disarm Drona not kill him.

And give answer whenever you feel free.

Pandavas wanted to win the war, for that, they have to eliminate one after the other all the enimies , the other side's all warriors, and Arjun and others know very well that war means there will be victory for only one side , until the enemies --whether they are their Pitamah Bheesma, Guru Drona, all those kith and kin have to be killed, they can't win the war. They have to do action Krishna was their guiding force only.

Oh what do I mean what do I write! I meant why they were angry when Dhristadyumna killed Drona? Will not Drona return to war if not killed?

I don't have much knowledge about mythology or Mahabharata. I am only guessing because this is a discussion. My guess is ----- only Krishna was aware of the final consequences and drona's fate in the hands of dhristadyumna. The rest of the Pandavas just followed Krishna's instructions when he made the aswathama hotoh plan. They (specially Arjuna) might have only assumed that drona would be too grieved to continue fighting with his full strength. And that's their intention.

Even if drona would have taken up the weapon again, his judgement and thoughts would have been already clouded by aswathama's thoughts and archery needs a calm and composed mind. So it would have been easier for Arjuna to fight him then. Pandavas might have just wanted to wait and watch whether drona leaves the battleground. And if he had taken up his bow again, Arjuna would have killed him instantly. That was perhaps their plan. But dhristadyumna killed him when he was not holding any weapon and wasn't even riding his chariot. Killing him in that condition doesn't satisfy the rules of battle. That's why Pandavas didn't support him and Arjuna attacked him. Then when Krishna told them how their fate was interwined since drona-dhrupad clash, Arjuna controled himself.

This is my assumption.

All Are Mine Now!

Standing in that spectacular landscape of yellow flowering creepers emerging from the greenery of trees, Radha holding Krishna's flute has donned her divine lover's peacock-feather crown and clad in a saffron-colored dhoti. Blue- complexioned Krishna in turn, wears Radha's earrings, red skirt, blouse, and transparent veil. Holding hands, the two gazed into one another's eyes and smiled blissfully! The smile projected life in all its realities!!

“Syama Radha , take corrective measures Priya… cover your bosom with that veil properly, Radhanever walks like a lioness, your Radha sways like a tender creeper while walking on the bank of river Yamuna to meet you!” Radha couldn’t resist a gentle tease!!

She wears his peacock feather, he dons her lovely delicate floral crown, she sports his yellow garment, he wraps himself in her beautiful sari---How charming the very sight of it. . . River Yamuna exulted with wavelets while watching them in that mood! The daughter of Vrsabhanu turned into Nanda's son, and Nanda's son, into Vrsabhanu's girl!-----

“Adorable Krishnaradhika--Did you hear the music that emanates from the symphony of that lute of Radha and flute of Krishna? Did you look at the wondrous feel when the string becomes a tune?? Don’t press those tender lips hard to that bamboo flute, it will hurt your coral lips, press it just like planning a kiss” Krishna tried to explain the melody in music, the love in their hearts!!

“Syama Radha…when your breath touches me, when my body goes into ruptures, my quiver, and your flute create a beautiful symphony… listen to it once!! When the fire of passion glows in our eyes right when the stars in the sky yonder twinkle bright in every cell of my body I feel a surge of divine ecstasy! The beauty I always dreamed in my dreams now I see it right in front of me, like a forest Goddess, you have stepped into my garden, you are looking like a poem which is a moving beauty, as the liveliness of youth, you have come into my embrace! “

‘He is absolutely gorgeous when he plays the flute! I cannot keep my eyes or heart off him. Now I have to be like him … because I dressed up as Krishna and have to dance with all the Gopikas!!’ Radha slipped into her thoughts for a while!

Krishna noticed her dilemmas, “ You silly girl! Thousands of gopis would run-- up to their Krishna while playing the flute and would try to woo me!! Now you have to deal with that issue!! Are you going to woo your friends as if I am doing earlier?? Whenever I did it you turned your face to the other side with envy, now look at me, I will watch you with a smile when you surrounded by all the beautiful Gopikas to hug you , to kiss you, to embrace you and to own you ” A glint in Krishna’s eyes, which reflected as a lightning in Radha’s glares!

She was thinking –“ Of course, he was the best-looking man in the universe, am I doing wrong by replicating him? It means, now I have to hear the lovelorn whispers of Gopikas with a smile, even though I am furious…” a red streak in her eyes!

Krishna whispered again…KrishnaRadika! you've had enough thoughts, wake up now! Let the layer of fog unveil you, come out like a blossomed flower that falls forward, you should wake your thoughts up, you didn't take your veil off, why is this drowsiness girl? Ignoring the sun rays which asked you to wake up, why are you pampered yourself girl? Proving that Your dreams wouldn't melt into lies, those are in front of you! The sky has come to earth for you, take that form and wind it around you, what is this hesitation for? Let this shyness, fear go into your Krishna's hands… err , now into this KrishnaRadhika’s hands and let him play tunes with his flute!!” Krishna suggested to his Syama Radha!

Radha as Krishna looked at the world afresh …There the young heart of the pond told her that it would serve her desire as honey for Krishna, she is a girl with sweet desires who asked her Krishna to come to her prior to anyone else to have a hug or a dip into that pond!!

“Syama Radha …Did you hear what other cow-herd girls had tosay? Don't let this moment skip out of your hands, come fast Krishna, let us play hide and seek for a while before the villagers notice us” Krishna teased her again!

Radha swaying in her dream declared proudly … “see Krishna, the musical flute, the rainbow smile, the peacock feather and that divine charm all are mine now”

Krishna who was absorbed in thoughts admits—“ Yes, now I realised, the searching eyes, the warm sighs, the lovelorn thoughts, and the wet eyes with flowing memories… all are mine now!!”
