Now we can say it is 100% unrealistic!! πŸ˜ƒ

How do they write it in such a weird way??

The Kans vadh was purely an affair between Mama and his nephew!

What is the need to interfere with anyone else?

No doubt, Radha is his inner energy, Divine Shakti, but she will never show it in such a way !

Why villagers have to play a role in that royal battle? 😲

Gayatri, they DID actually take Vasudev's and Devki's names in front of Nand and Yashoda, in the episode of Tuesday 19 November (episode 356).

Just after Radha told Yashoda that Krishna is not Nand's and Yashoda's son, Akrur confirmed this and told them that Krishna was their good friend Vasudev's and Devki's son, and Kans's nephew. They even showed a flashback of Vasudev carrying baby Krishna across the Yamuna river during the storm and then leaving him with Yashoda while taking away Yashoda's baby daughter. Akrur actually explained to Nand and Yashoda right then that their friend Vasudev knew that they would look after Krishna very well and so left him with them, and that Devi Yogmaya had taken birth as Yashoda-Nand's daughter and was destined to go with Vasudev, and that it was destiny for Nand-Yashoda to be Krishna's foster parents for the early part of his life.

And after being upset for a while, Yashoda then calmed down and eventually told Krishna to go and free his parents from Kans's prison, etc etc.

So yes, they did actually tell Yashoda and Nand about Devki and Vasudev, and about their own baby daughter, right to their faces in the show. And thankfully it was Akrur who told them this, as opposed to Radha!!! Small mercies! (The writers' making everything revolve around Radha is so unnecessary, silly and irritating!)

BUT, it is another thing all together that

  • Rohini has been completely MISSING from the show for ages - particularly at this important moment when Balram is also leaving Vrindavan;
  • nothing AT ALL was said about Balram's parentage, despite Vasudev and Devki being mentioned; and
  • they are COMPLETELY IGNORING Balram - as if he is not leaving, as if he is not a prince, as if his parents aren't in jail, as if he wasn't well-liked and loved in Vrindavan/Barsana, as if he doesn't actually exist!!! 😑

So horribly disrespectful, and actually downright stupid!!! (Not that the RK writers seem to know what logic is!)

Seriously, it would have only taken a few seconds to say SOMETHING (anything!) about this, and the least they could have done is to have Balram get a farewell tilak at all! At least he did get a hug from Yashoda and blessings from her and Nand before leaving! Small mercies, again!

Ahhh i missed that as anyways i am not watching the episodes in whole!! I just catch Insta snippets. And VERY VERY TRUE about BALRAM!! Icannot fathom what reserach the CVs have done to downplay Balram this much that he is just a mere dust :(

Vishnu must be confused and wondering '' what I did exactly at that time?? ''

Sorry to say that those colour smeared faces didn't depict the necessary separation of sorrow in that last scene. Sitting under a tree and recollecting those past incidents, as sweet memories is different, playing all the games, festivals, Raas Leela in a hurry, which even confused the RK characters also, they weren't able to act properly!! Or it may be my wrong perception. 😲

Gayatri, calm down Madam,no need to become violent, don't expect some worthy scenes from them. That's all!!

For me the History channel and Travel channel are the best ones!!

Seriously what era are you guys talking about ? Left right left was an exception at that time. TV was as crap as today ( specially star and zee ).....80% of the shows were ekta kapoor crap ....all the K craps with multiple marriages and rapes and plastic surgery and memory loss and extramaritals and illegitimate kids......and there were some youth shows where people got married and consummated in school, college, hospitals premises ( plus romance, party and everything other than studying or whatever those places were meant for )... The only sensible show other than LRL was jassi jaisi koi nehi (it too went down the drain after she got a make over ). There were some good comedy shows like khichri, Sarabhai vs saravai and family no. one and some kids' shows like shaka laka boom boom, son pari and shaktiman. And the Ramanand Sagar reruns ---- though these and shaktiman came in the national TV and metro. 90% rest of the cable tv were utter crap like today.

The early 90s was the golden age of television. Women used to be IPS, tomboy office workers, air force officer etc. in those days. Even the relationship dramas like shanti and swabhiman were gems. Comedies like office office. That was the early 90s. Then ekta mata came with kabhi sautan kabhi saheli and everything got ruined.

Left right left and jassi were exceptions. We were not luckier than today's kids. Atleast today they have Netflix and web series. We only had shaktiman, shree krishna and shaka laka boom boom.

Are you talking about Dharmakshetra ?? They are presenting the Mahabharath from a different angle , which is interesting, though the actors won't be suited well or it is my wrong opinion because we used to see the MB characters in a typified way, with certain traits and mannerisms!! Vyas, the author of the epic himself, is brought before Chitragupta to explain why he portrayed events and characters the way he did--- THAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING PART.

Yahh lol. I was reading about the dharmasutra/shastras and that's what I mistakenly wrote.

That show is an example where I absolutely loved the creative liberty they took. It's more like a dramatized analysis of the Mahabharata and less a mythological story. I didn't like all the actors but i absolutely loved Krishna and duryadhan. Krishna doesn't look like a 'krishna' but he made it up with his acting imo. It was logical, sensible and well scripted.

Red----How can you be wrong about whether YOU liked the actors ? You can be either right or lying but can never be wrong πŸ˜†. It's your opinion, not some scientific or historical fact for god's sake. You are always right on whether something suited to your eyes.
