Gayatri, the answer is very simple, they are thinking that we are... what to say? They are underestimating the viewers' ability and capability.😲 Whatever they say we will blindly believe and admire them for their storyline!!!Originally posted by: RainFire125

The idiotic writers are leaving no stone unturned to insult the Balram character in general, so it is just in keeping with their usual trend if they are actually going to have something strange and unnecessary like this coming up! 😕
I like that they did actually show a Sheshnaag-Jyotishmati backstory to Balram-Revati; although it was a mixture of the mythological stories about Jyotishmati and Revati, at least what they showed was reasonable and made some sense in terms of the RK show setup of still having Balram in Vrindavan rather than in Dwaraka when he meets Revati. It appears that at least one of the writers has learnt a new skill to some extent - writing things that actually make some sense! (Baby steps, baby steps!) And this will hopefully give those poor souls who think that everything shown in the RK show is actually true SOME understanding of the revered characters of Shri Balram and Devi Revati, rather than them just getting excited about the Balram character getting a "girlfriend" in the show!
Being one story where the protagonists, Balram and Revati, are already actually destined to be together, I an NOT looking forward to seeing how RK's Radha and Krishna - who have been soooooo successful (note: sarcasm!) at teaching us all about love - attempt to teach Balram about love! 😕
I very much dislike the way that the writers continue to portray Balram as being brainless, or having other characters think that he is brainless. I didn't like it when Kutila actually thought that to herself in Monday's episode, but I wasn't surprised by it because she thinks she is the smartest and everyone else is stupid. What is the real insult is the way that the writers continue to treat the Balram character disrespectfully in general. Shri Balram, the RK character of Balram, and Basant deserve much better.
BTW, RK's Pralambhasur is lucky - he actually survived Kans's plan (making him only the second asur to achieve this feat, after that Chalasur who went as a fake pundit during Chadravalli's wedding festivities), and now that he has advised Kans to get King Kukudmi to oganise a wrestling match to "help" him find a worthy son-in-law, seemingly Pralambhasur has some weird role in uniting his destined muktidaata, Balram, with his destined wife, Revati!

true M and frankly i will not blame them!! there are many folks who actually believe that the story shown by them is the truth!! So what can we say!!!
I hate it when Balram is shown stupid. Comic is ok but not brainless yaar. He is also divine, he knows what Krishna knows 99% so why is he portrayed like this???? He is so powerful and insightful. I love reading about him too in gargsamhita :) He is like such a complimentary personality to Narayan/Krishna and Basant could do so much justice to this character but alas these people have just played with him like rubbish!!!! :(

Krishn convinces all the Gopikas to come to a special place to witness the Kunjiri pushpa that blooms once in 12 yrs ...
He then convinces Radha to come along n witness Balram’s love story blossom in Mukund van.
Radha gets permission ...after lots of drama ...to accompany other villagers girls n ladies to visit the place early in the morning ...
Kans orders Kakumdi to arrange Malyudh pratiyogita in which bravest prince will have to fight Pralambasur n Kans to win Revati's hand in marriage..
Balram refuses to accompany Radha .. but he finally agrees
At Mukund van he rescues Revathi the princess daughter of King Kakumdi from a crocodile while she is bathing in the river n falls in love with the girl .
