Hi, Tusu - I see you've started up the "Arti Interrogation Mini-thread" in AT#3 as well!

Yes, I was there yesterday. It was cool but a bit unfortunate that it kept cutting out for him - I guess some network issues.

Basant doesn't go live much (I believe he did do it quite a long time ago but I missed it), so as he said, there was a lot for him to get used to (things like new features and so many people sending requests, etc along with the cutting out/network problem). But it was nice of him to have a go when he had some time, and I'm sure he'll get more used to it if he does it more often. Because he is a famous actor and is so jovial, and we see him interact well with everyone, most people don't realise that Basant is actually very private and introverted, so him going live with fans like this himself is actually a pretty big deal! ⭐️😊 (Even though Basant is more well known and has a lot more social media followers now, since RK has been on air, he has always been popular from his other shows, so I think there has always been demand for fan interaction. In addition to there being more demand, I think he probably feels more comfortable now in interacting with fans like that - just my thoughts as a fellow introvert.)

About the submitted questions: obviously I didn't get to see all of them but most that I did see were variations of "where is Sumedh/Mallika?" and "are you on holiday today?", πŸ˜• which he had already answered multiple times, so I can understand if he wanted to try talking to people directly, to talk about other stuff. A lot of people were also just commenting asking him to say their name!!! Some people did submit other questions and he did answer several of them, so that was nice. πŸ‘πŸΌ Some people are really funny - when Basant doesn't come online/live, some complain that he doesn't do it; when he does come live, people keep asking about Sumedh/others etc rather than actually just asking Basant things to do with himself! (This is most likely different people doing the complaining and asking about Sumedh etc, but it is still weird and funny! )

It was also nice to hear Basant sing again and he did so beautifully! (He sang part of the RK song, for those who missed it.)πŸ˜ƒπŸ€— He said hopefully he'd do it again when he reaches 100k followers on Instagram, so we have just over 4k followers to wait for.

It was really nice that Basant was able to get his single scene for the day finished early on yesterday, instead of the usual long hours no matter how few scenes he has to shoot for. Even though he still seems to have very few scenes, it is good that he is getting quite a bit of rest lately - he looked so tired yesterday in the live session, so rest time for him is definitely welcome and hopefully he had a really good sleep last night! πŸ‘πŸΌ

And it was pretty funny for me, after my pretend-melodramatic lamentations on Thursday about not getting Basant's shubh darshan in the RK or VG episodes of Wednesday (on page 119 of this AT, for anyone who wants to see it!), that we got to see him in a live session the very next day (yesterday, Friday)! 🀣

So yes, it was nice! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜ƒβοΈ

(Tusu ma'am, may I please step out of the witness box now?)

yeah from another long time fan, i got to know he came live on 31th december 2017 last time. see i am keeping proper tab πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†

oh it was such a big surprise i must say, when i saw the story just 10 minutes before it, i was speechless... the lame questions he got is a side effect of people's unpreparedness . still more than 1200 ppl joined him in such a short notice, which is a very good number πŸ‘πŸΌ

since i started following him, saw him being quite interactive initially.... but in between for whatever reasons he became quiet and selective... thankfully he is back in the jovial mood again which everyone love

i think people do understand that he is a very private person , see we still don't know anything about his likes/dislikes or family... usually the things fans know in general

yeah some of the 'where is sumedh' questions were excessive indeed. i bet it all came from the new hoards of casual fans sumedh got after rk, not the quality ones. happy that he talked about coming live again or singing for us when he reaches 100k. i understand he is not a pro at this and it was visible tbh πŸ˜›he was giving 7-8 minutes per video caller, which can be much shorter. sumedh usually does some hi hello, one random line about show and sees if the caller has to say anything... then moves on.... and he takes calls when he is not getting variety of text questions.

IMO he looked good in the live session and was glowing

hopefully when he comes next, both of us will be able to attend again πŸ˜ƒ

it wasn't interrogation πŸ˜† was just in mood to do some gupshup πŸ˜ƒ

🀣 Tusu, you know I'm joking - I just like to pull out my "Arti Interrogation Mini-thread" lines whenever you ask me something specifically, especially because it doesn't happen very often! πŸ˜‰

Yes, I agree that Basant looked great during the live session. ⭐️ I still think he looked tired, but definitely great! And LOL at your comment about "quality fans"!!! 🀣

Coming to yesterday's RK episode, it was great to see Balram's big smile after Radha's proposal to Krishna, and it was actually good that they didn't over do his reaction at that point given that Chandravalli-Govardhan's wedding needed to get started. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Jatila and Ayan are as annoying as ever, and even though Jatila's plan did work out in a roundabout way, I'm glad that Ugrapad is the one who genuinely stood up for his friend Vrishban rather than Jatila pretending to, as she was planning to do for her plan. Good on Ugrapad for finally living up to his name and showing us some ugrata (fierceness) for once! πŸ‘ The poor man has such a psychotic family - I wonder if he will ever find out just how evil his wife and son are! The CVs have definitely set things up for Radha-Ayan's marriage now and it is really quite weird. The only good thing I can say about this is that at least Radha will have a nice father-in-law, even though he is pretty clueless about his own family!

It was also quite strange to see Krishna recently wanting to marry Radha so badly when he was the one who would always change the topic whenever Radha or Balram talked about RK's marriage, because he knew that it could never happen. Since they finished five baadhas/vikaars with Radha, I wonder if they decided to stick "kaamna" (desire, in general) into Krishna instead! But of course, they didn't show this extreme desire (not to mention, memory loss!) as a vikaar for Krishna - instead it became a really good thing that he wanted to propose/get married/have Radha answer him in front of everyone so very badly, despite his knowing that they are fated to be apart and that the actual earthly marriage will never happen! πŸ˜•

I think it would have been much better to not have such an emphasis on this "divine marriage proposal" and instead move more towards Radha actually remembering who she is and the fact that RK are to be separated on Earth for 100 years. Then they could have beautifully shown RK's spiritual/divine wedding conducted by Brahmadev - that would have been lovely! After that they could have somehow redeemed Ayan, at least a little bit, and then moved towards Radha marrying him eventually if necessary. This way they could show how RK's spiritual love is not limited by the earthly bond of marriage and live up to the show's tagline, but without too much of Radha having to sacrifice her love/herself for her father's pride and promise to Ugrapad. But the CVs will show whatever strangeness they want to.

Whatever they do show now, it will be a mess! And I wonder how this will all fit with the upcoming Govardhan Parvat sequence.

Balram might have a more extreme joyful reaction next week so I just hope they don't have him be punished or made the butt of unfunny jokes YET AGAIN!

@Arti (A-A-S) I swear If they do the same rinse and repeat joke of Balram being beaten up again for "reminding" everyone I am throwing my device away. I would be so done. There are better jokes

I hope we get some nice scenes with Balram. Some serious ones would be fine too. And not serious as in Balram asking Krishn what's next and Kanha doing the explaining. TBH I am low key bored of that something new would be nice even if we have not seen it in a while. I would rather not have that back as once it is used again it will keep being used after that.

I want something new and there are hopes with the Govardhan track. But am I keeping any of those hopes? big answer... NOPE. I cannot hope for anything with this showπŸ€”

I swear in this rendition of Krishna is Balram even Devaki's son?🀣 Like everyone forgot about that. Like it might not be important to the current track and not important anymore but it is still something I want to see. (Sry bringing this back but it is just bothering me) Does Devaki even know her 7th son is alive and well? I am beginning to doubt what I know πŸ˜•Is Balram even Devaki's son

Hi Janu!

I agree with you and had a bit of a rant, at the top of page 122: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/150299161?tid=5077950

@Bold: I also wrote my thoughts on this in my page 122 post. I think it is important but apparently the CVs don't - for now, anyway!

Take a look at my post there and let me know what you think. ⭐️ I have a feeling you will agree with quite a bit of it!

yes i know πŸ˜† so let it make more frequent πŸ˜›πŸ˜‰

agree on balram reaction but i kind of feel the path they have taken in terms of story telling, balram won't have anything substantial to do in this.... his screen space has also reduced drastically and we also know BB is getting breaks these days.... now toh he is totally missing for two days, no idea if he is at all shooting or not

yeah ugrapad did well, but why did jatila give earth shattering expressions lol πŸ˜†it was according to her plan only... just the person doing it was different

same here, i don't understand ye kanha ko achanak kya bhoot chadi hai vivah ki πŸ˜†i though it was clearly implied that he knows very well that they are not meant to be together in conventional way πŸ˜•i really don't understand this

@Red: I agree, Jatila's expressions when Vrishbhan promised were so over-the-top and funny! It was as if she remembered the time when she and Ayan saw Kaaliya Naag take that goat underwater! smiley37 She had the exact same expressions that time, when it was actually suitable for the situation, although still hilarious!!! That Kaaliya-takes-goat scene is one time I was actually glad to see Jatila!!! smiley36

I guess Jatila was disappointed when Ugrapad spoke up before she was able to, and so thought her plan was flopping, but then when Vrishbhan made the promise she wanted anyway, they probably wanted to show that she was so shocked that her plan actually worked out! It was still very over the top! Tusu, I like your description - "earth shattering expressions"! smiley10 An evil smile would have been more appropriate but this was damn hilarious!

@Blue: Krishna is planning to talk to Yashoda about him and Radha getting married, but it is obvious that the CVs will stretch this out and include misunderstandings etc, so that Yashoda and Kirtida won't actually be able to get together to agree on the marriage/plan the wedding, etc etc, and Jatila will have time to sweet-talk Ugrapad into somehow asking Vrishbhan to get Radha and Ayan married, probably in such a way so that he (Ugrapad) thinks it's his own idea. And I'm sure that Ugrapad, bless his heart, will be so happy at this idea when it finally comes into his head!

So I (and I'm sure everyone else!) think they will have Krishna bring up the marriage topic with Yashoda in a roundabout way like Balram tried to do before, by saying something like Yashoda does so much work around the house and it is time that they brought a daughter-in-law into the family/household. (I do wonder if they will actually acknowledge that Rohini is missing!) And of course Yashoda will think about getting Balram married instead of Krishna! At least this is what I think will happen again, seeing as Balram is the elder brother!

So now I certainly hope they won't have any more Yashoda-running-after-Balram-to-punish-him scenes this week, but I think Yashoda's suggestion of Balram's marriage and his aversion to the idea (like we've seen before) will be the next way the CVs will try to milk Balram's character for laughs!

Basant is shooting, just with much-needed breaks, as we've said before.smiley10 I just hope the CVs don't also drag this Yashoda-suggesting-Balram's-marriage thing to the point of it being no longer funny as well!
