words are marked then π today's epi was reassuring in this regard, our boy is marriage phobic ππ
fantastic expressions by BB , specially when the food fell from his hand π and when he was giving dhamki to kanha by doing isharas π like tum bolte ho ki main bol du π another point when yashoda was acting like ab mujhe kaise milegi bahu... then he was pointing at kanha from side π€£that was funny
but thank god the crisis situation for balram was resolved today itself
@underline true π
three cheers for the actors and us for successfully completing 200 epis π₯³
I'm so glad the Balram marriage suggestion was part of Yashoda's drama and that she did actually understand what Krishna was trying to say! It was very irritating when it looked like the CVs were making Yashoda's character stupid and incapable of understanding her son/things in general, and I'm glad that they actually changed tack with that! ππΌ They've already degraded characters plenty enough!
And I'm also glad they didn't drag the Balram marriage stuff too much - what they had was actually funny, albeit still unnecessary. π Expression King Basant, please take several bows!!! π He was fabulous! All the incidents you mentioned, Tusu, were hilarious and his expressions, dialogues, gestures, and reactions were all so on point! My favourite part was Balram's dialogue "Abhi mera sarvanaash kyu?!" - I totally lost it at the word "sarvanaash" and couldn't stop laughing for quite a while after that! The way he said the word was epic! All Balram's dialogues were hilarious - I love the very effective use of alliteration with all the B words: "Balram ki bali kyu?", "Itne bhayanak, bhayankar, bhay se jo bhaybheet ho raha hoon, uska main kya karu?!" π€£ Thanks to the dialogue writer for the fantastic word choices and Basant for the awesome delivery! π€£
As I said before, they won't actually have Balram get married because then they would lose the ability to milk his marriage aversion for laughs. And unlike Sudevi-Bhairav and Chandravalli-Govardhan, if Balram did get married then the CVs would have another new character (his wife, Revati) that they would need to do something with, when they already have enough trouble coming up with substantial plotlines for all the already existing characters, including Balram himself. It's not like they could properly justify Balram and Revati leaving Vrindavan for all time at this point, and it would just be plain weird to have a wife for him at all if she is going to be constantly missing while he is still around - mum Rohini being missing in action is plenty enough!
And Balram being punished by Rohini and Yashoda lately has definitely grown tiresome, so they'll want to keep something to generate laughs; Balram's marriage aversion so far is still funny because they've pulled it out in different ways every time so far, and these incidents have been quite spaced apart rather than in quick succession like Yashoda's recent punishments/chases. But I do think that Balram being scared of getting married would have been a lot more funny and effective if he wasn't already shown as being scared of Yashoda/other things so much. Showing him as someone who is extremely supportive of other people getting married (which they have) and is generally not scared of anything EXCEPT himself getting married could have been extremely hilarious! The CVs missed a really good opportunity here, in their zeal for characterising Balram the way they have. π€
I wonder what will actually happen next!
