What was supposed to be an ordinary location scout turned out to be a disaster for Aroona Irani, when her car crashed into another vehicle in Dubai on Monday.
The producer of Rabba Ishq Na Hove (Zee) was on a recce, when her friend, who was driving, lost control and banged it into the car in front of them. Irani managed to get out of the car unscathed, but her vehicle was badly smashed. Lucky escape
Recalling the incident, Irani says, "It happened so quickly, I had no time to react. We came to Dubai as part of the track to move the story forward. For this, we needed to hunt for new places and venues to shoot. There are lots of malls here and Sharjah airport is also a stunning place."
On Monday afternoon, Irani was travelling with a female friend. "Suddenly, she lost control of the car and it crashed into the vehicle in front of us. Both of us were lucky to have escaped."
Rabba's Dubai jaunt
When asked why she decided to have a schedule in Dubai, Irani says, "We are showing that Pia (Sangeeta Ghosh) is heartbroken and has decided to move to a different place. Hence she comes to Dubai. There are some lovely locations here which we are planning to use." Give it time
Talking about the serial's performance, Irani says, "I think Rabba needs some time to settle. I am excited about the way the audience has reacted to it in the first few weeks. There is loads of drama due to happen on the show; I think in the next three to four weeks, there will be a clearer picture of how viewers are taking the show." |
