| Daggers drawn: Pooja Ghai Rawal and Sangeeta Ghosh in Rabba... Pooja Ghai Rawal and Sangeeta Ghosh might be at loggerheads on screen, but off-screen they are the best of buddies. Pooja is always seen trying to wreak havoc in Sangeeta's life in all the shows they do together.
Pooja says, "It has been like this forever. In Virasaat, I play Aman Varma's wife Anoushka and want to destroy Sangeeta's and Rohit Roy's married life. When Virasaat was offered to me, my character in Rabba was positive but I was aware that very soon she would turn negative and that too against Sangeeta."
Speaking about her other two shows she says, "Sambhav Asambhav showed me in a negative light yet it was one of the most beautiful roles that I have ever done. In the show, I get married to Vikram Gokhale just to create trouble in Sangeeta's life as she is married to his son, played by Shakti Anand. In Rabba… too I have my own reasons to get even with Sangeeta."
However, in real life both Pooja and Sangeeta get along like a house on fire, "We are the best of buddies and we always keep on playing pranks on others," says Pooja. "We have a lot of fun together, laugh a lot together. The entire crew is usually on edge whenever we are together, they know they can expect plenty of pranks. We hardly have any time to meet after work but whenever possible, we try and meet for dinner."
Sangeeta Ghosh feels much like her friend. "Pooja and I have worked together often. Hence, we have got to know each other very well," she says. "We don't have any ego hassles, or any hang-ups against each other. On the sets, when we are not shooting, we keep yakking all the time - about food, make-up, shopping. However, we respect each other's space. We don't interfere in each other's work."
