What ventilator is to a patient; is leap to a low TRP show? And yet another show to follow the suit is Jay Productions Rab Se Sohna Ishq being aired on Zee TV. The show revolves around life of cupid struck female protagonist Sahiba (Ekta Kaul) who goes beyond precincts for her childhood beau Ranveer (Ashish Sharma) only to discover her true love in Daljeet (Kanan Malhotra).

Love sells high on TV and thus the channel betted higher with international locales for the shoot. However disappointing performance on TRP front induced them to fall back on to classic family drama genre. Creatives managed to put up a good show with their latest five earthy elements endangering Sahiba's life concept.

Summing the last episode, we witnessed high octane death drama of Ranveer with deliberate attempt to malice Sahib's relationship with Daljeet. Ranveer's father blamesSahiba and Daljeet for his son's demise. In precap, we saw glimpse of complete filmy khoon bhari maang as Daljeet tries to legitimize his relation with Sahiba.

Little birdy is chiming a six year leap for the show. Per updates, amnesia struck Sahiba will be seen living in a missionary orphanage under a new name Annu. Guess what? The orphanage will be owned by Ashish Sharma who in his second innings in the show will don role of a prima donna. What happens next to Daljeet is yet under layers.

News of Ekta Kapoor's Jodhaa Akbar getting an 8:00 pm slot adds to suspicion that this may not be a bau leap for the show. May be a life grace by the channel to production team to improve their TRP's failing which they may decide to either pull the plug or change the time slot.
