totally agree with you kiddo...this is a oversmart act of daljeet,but he can call police by bribing them or by lodging complaint against ranveer...but still thare is certain procedure in our country becoz even after lodging a complaint by complainant,police is bound to make investigation before arresting the acuused,& arrest is only possible if prima facie case is made out against the accused but here i agree with you that daljeet will never get data from this cd becoz it is already broken...but still daljeet managed to call police...but our courts never gave punishments to a person without evidence.& daljeet has no evidence except this broken cd which he will not be able to prove in the court so ranveer can go free very soon...now coming to the confession of ranveer before sahiba...even if an accused confess his guilt in police custody before police acc. to our criminal procedure code...he can deny this confession before honourable court & court never considered this confession valid.this confession is only valid in tada & pota cases.becoz acc sec. 164 . of criminal procedure code confeesion before a judge is thhe valid confession,i mean to say that if there is no evidence against ranveer but if he confess muderering mr. pal before the court then only he can be punished acc. to indian laws even without an evidence.but here i don't think he will be punished becoz of lack of evidence,he will be a free man soon...acording to law of our country this is not my personal view,this is what law said...as for as confessing his guilt before sahiba,this is really good on the part of ranveer,he should have confessed it earlier.
