A sensible story line which has now turned out to be the most atrocious of all the serials I have seen so far. It teaches you all the wrong things in life: not to trust in love, to be a cheat, tell lies, let people point fingers at others (but keep yourself safe), not communicate, never tell the truth, save your ass, kill people blame others and end up with a person you loved but cheated...
Sahiba is one confused woman, a spineless dumbo, who does not know her true love and does not even have the guts to stand for her real love when he is cheated, criticized, and ill spoken about by her family.
- Sahiba went after Ranveer to London---a man who left her on a wedding day to go to London to chase his dreams.
- She married (read used) Daljeet, another man to reach London and look for Ranveer.
- She stayed with Daljeet and took his help to get back Ranveer.
Simple, she used his Daljeet. Disgusting. - Then, very conviniently, Sahiba fell in love with Daljeet for his innocence. She told Daljeet that she loved him and set a spark of hope in him.
- She then proceeded with the "first night" act, accepting Daljeet as her husband.
Is this Daljeet's mistake? He did not force her at all. - She then divorced Daljeet and married Ranveer---did this to save Daljeet from jail.
But she has kept this fact a secret from all, even her parents. Wonder why people keep secrets in serials. - For the sake of her family, Sahiba wants to be a good wife to Ranveer, because according to her "mein uski patni hoon".
Really? Please!! But when she was married to Daljeet, she did not follow this rule at all. She was trying to follow and locate Ranveer. - Ranveer opts for her instead of Jaaz and her money and she starts looking at him with the lovelorn expression on her face.
Sahiba is acting like a pet. - She keeps saying sorry to Ranveer because she is pregnant---why the hell is she sorry???? Wasn't she forced to marry him after divorcing Daljeet (for saving Daljeet)? Why sorry? I just don't get?
- Sahiba is protecting her family's reputation and so she keeps thanking Ranveer for owning up Daljeet's child in front of every one.
Sahiba comes across as very selfish, wrong, self centered, and a cheepo. Why the hell does she thank Ranveer? He has to own it to sake his skin and reputation as well. - She is pregnant, promises to give Daljeet the child, but comes in between to save Ranveer (to whom she has said that she loves Daljeet) from the goondas.
Has she lost it? Will a sane woman do that? - In the state of anguish of losing her child, she ends up sleeping up with Ranveer and then says that she should not have done it because she loves Daljeet
A woman of good character??? Woman please make up your mind. - When she comes to know that she is pregnant again with Ranveer's child, she thinks that it is an indicator from God that she has to live with Ranveer.
- Ranveer left Sahiba her on her (their) wedding day and went to London to chase his dreams and make money.
Is he a man to leave the woman on the wedding day and then say that he did for her? What kind of love is that? - In London he he gets engaged to another girl (Jazz) for money. Inspite of that he kept taunting Sahiba for being with Daljeet.
New definition of love I guess. He can leave a girl and run away, get engaged to another, but the girl can't do the same. - He kills Jazz's father and blames it on Daljeet.
Wow what a criminal mind he has. Isn't he a criminal? - With Daljeet in jail, he trades for Daljeet's freedom in exchange to getting married to Sahiba (which she does).
Makes him a great business man too and a great person to be trusted and to be loved. - He comes back to India and marries Sahiba.
- He is two timing with Jazz even in India.
- He gets upset when Sahiba thinks about Daljeet, becuase according to him, he is the husband.
But he could ask Sahiba to divorce her husband Daljeet and get married to him to prove Daljeet innocent. - He keeps saying that he is doing all the things for Sahiba---what the hell, after spoiling her life, Daljeet's life, Jazz's life, killing Jazz's father does one right make all this right?
Ranveer keeps muttering that "mein London tere liye gaya ta", and Sahiba actually believes it? As far as I know, any normal girl, with some self respect will never follow a man who left her stranded on her wedding day to follow his dreams of making big. Is this LOVE? Love is sacrifice---a sacrifice you give to make the loved one happy. Here Sahiba and Ranveer are sacrificing Daljeet for their own means.
- He falls in love with a girl who used him to her selfishness.
- He looks after her when she was in need.
- He believes in her when she says that she loves him.
- He takes the marriage forward when "she" is ready.
- He follows her to India to save her from Ranveer only to find that Sahiba telling him, "mein kisi our ki patni hoon".
- He tries to take revenge---his only real mistake.
But now, isn't this an outcome of being used by people he loved? Both Ranveer and Sahiba have come across as charaterless individuals. Now, Ranveer is turning "good" but does that wipe away all the bad he has done so far. Why was he negative? Simple because that is what he was.
1. Sahiba should tell the truth to her parents who think ill about Daljeet.
2. Ranveer should confess his crime.
3. He should accept his punishment for what he did and live a normal life with Sahiba if she and family accepts him.
An irony, I hate Ranveer, but like the actor. He is good looking and a great actor too. I like Daljeet, but I am not too fond of the actor, but there is really no confusion between the actor and the charactor.
