Ha ha Hugo and Chintu Bunty back story and how they don't like being called. 🤣 But that made me feel a bit sad knowing how much hard work / stress they had to go through that they wanted to be little kids rushing out to play once the cut was said. 😭😩

Just like after the hard day at work I always want want to be just WaqtZaya 😭💔 it just made me so sad ,knowing the heavy Baggage of the characters and the scenes in Ksg's words --- Dardnaak that all the hard work they had to put in, caused them to hurt and harm their physical and mental health both. 😭😩💔

That way all of us have work stress man. 😆 That's the reality. But the thing is if we love what we do, we don't mind the stress (upto a certain extent). These are coping mechanisms to enable to us to continue doing what we love doing. And periodic breaks help man. Which celebrities also take. Yeah he's totally like Zoya 🤣

Our work stress or work hours aren't 20hrs a day 6days a week.

Our work stress do not require us to have a different identity completely and be a different person altogether and require us to undergo the emotions of that very person to give it justification.

Our work stress is WAAAAAAAY lesser than anyone in performing arts (I by no means am comparing with other jobs it's just a statement for people like us who are not into front line and do desk office or am taking away the hardwork blood and sweat that is required to put into) because they have to do better than yesterday with the sword of trps on their head, they have to be that person who they don't even relate to, they have to feel the feelings so that they can emote it, they have to go through the changes that particular character is undergoing, worst of all they don't get switch off time as within a few hours they have to be back on sets doing the same thing. No wonder it is so so damaging for anyone who is into performing arts. Especially last project how traumatizing it was for the vamp to enact that little scene because she couldn't bring herself too. :(

Which is why performing arts is something that is extremely hard to do and still considered one of the toughest job. Again if people aren't passionate about it, they hardly venture into this. As you require to be extremely passionate about what you do and whatever comes to you. (This reminds me of Late Irrfan Khan now 😭)

Also another reason why most of the actors want specific story line, specific end and specific time span along with work hours. As it's hard to get breaks in TV series. As everything is dependent on trps. Tracks changing overnight. No wonder Karan respects TV so much, Because the hardwork that is put in, hardly anyone bothers. All scream content content but the fact that everyone is having their hands tied yet have to work and perform in that limited space is really tough.

For ITV I feel high time they should take the leap but they won't as longer running shows earn revenue for the channel.

Every field has its highs and lows Ankiee. And stress is relative to the person. Yeah their work involves a lot more. But the rewards are that way too. Higher the risks, higher the returns. Plus, there are enough people in the corporates (not me, I am still studying), who's work involves 14-15 hours of screen time 7 days a week, and people who quit that shit for their health reasons. Yeah, these guys have a lot going. Coz in addition to the work, they have to work a lot to make people watch their work too. Really tough. But that's why they do take breaks and after a period of time, actors shift to shorter formats or shorter roles (even film actors do lesser films). So.

I agree with you completely. Which is why I also said, that the senior actors do not want to work for daily anymore for the same reason as it kills their talent and creative juices and they prefer shorter formats over longer running shows.

It's just sad considering that our ITV can take the leap but will not.

ITV needs change ASAP. I am so done with the same old mangalsutra and sindoor shit. Which is why I like Sony shows coz a lot of them have amazing concepts but not a great fan of the actors.
