Pyar Ko Ho Jane Do - An extraordinary tale of Love, sacrifice, pain, deprivation, struggle, betrayal, deception and bliss. This serial dared to showcase the sensitivity enveloping the world today and showcased it with utmost beauty and respect.

This show did not have a typical cliched angry young man with a deprived childhood as the hero - instead it had a Muslim and Non - indian protagonist who grew up in a terror camp. It did not have a bubbly and chirpy herione serving as the complete opposite to the hero .. instead the protagonist is a girl who believed in moving on in life after she lost her family in a terror attack and was molested during that. This show did not have a rolling eyes vamp, instead it had the biggest threat we face today as its antagonist- terrorism.

This show did not have long lectures of how a family should be together, instead it emphasised that terrorism did not belong to religion, cast, creed or nationality. Terrorism belongs to terror. That is it.

This show did not have close ups of the heroine and the vamp standing in front of each other with banging musics, instead it presented psychological fights - it presented a human being's basic struggle against his conscious and unconscious mind. It presented a man's helplessness over his past and the fear of uncertainty over future. This show presented the dilemma of whether to listen to heart or mind. This show presented the storm which a man faces when he needs to choose whether to listen to heart or mind. This show presented the ultimate struggle of whether to give up or keep trying? This show presented the struggle when a man needs to choose between being loyal to his duty or loyal to his love. This showed the struggle of whether its necessary to be linked by blood or the connections of heart with people are enough?

This show redefined loyalty, patriotism and mutual respect. It blew away the facade of terrorism and made people stop .. stop and think .. MAYBE the accusations we keep throwing at each other for terrorism CAN be a conspiracy?

This show did not have a wicked psycho lover conspiring against her sautan .. it had the biggest destructive force of the world - terrorism - conspiring against world peace and harmony.

This show weaved one after another beautiful messages in a row to complete its essence - Pyar Ko Ho Jane Do - Let love happen. Let love happen despite of boundaries, let love happen despite of barriers, let love happen and dont let terror win. Let love happen and dont let financially hungry agencies to create misunderstandings between two countries. Let love happen despite mistakes. Forgive, trust and let love happen, kyun k ,, k Pyar ki bus ik waja hoti hai .. Pyar..

~Forum members ki kahani Rupali ki zubani~

20th October 2015, I waited with baited breath for the show to start.. Mona was starring in it.. that was reason enough for me to watch the show.. little did i know the effect this show will have on me.. I have laughed, cried, got angry, got desperate, got hopeful with this show.. and not to forget this rocking forum.. i may have not interacted with many but today i feel i have an extended family here..it's going to be so difficult to get over this..

Mona i knew wouldn't disappoint with her acting.. and i also Knew Iqbal would be awesome.. but these two together.. they are more powerful than the sutli bombs that phodofied them at last πŸ˜ƒ

Trust me. Not many actors make me gush so much and after PKHJD.. i am a fan of Iqbal for life..i love them.. i love them both..

Life after this.. waiting with baited breath for 9.30 to strike.. cursing sony every moment for ruining the show, gushing and guffawing over the dimensions and badmouthing shergil..won't be the same..

Peeyara (Naseem) stomping..

Ek minute,, ek minute.. yaar tum kitna senti patakti ho rupsi.. meri sehat ke liye itna emotional stuff thiik nahi..

Me : achhaa .. Naseem.. for you I will stop my emotional bahaav.. (Naseem likes this with 10 others πŸ˜†)

Putting forth some positive nuances they brought in the show...

First and foremost.. no kitchen politics ( thank heavens.. we all have had a high dose of it) there was no adding mirchi to the food.. no backstabbing nanad ..no bitching bhabhi..after all.. its all about loving your family right πŸ˜‰

A daughter of the family is encouraged to take up the work of acting because she wants to and believes in.πŸ‘

The mother in law talking freely if her son has any problem regarding not having kids with her daughter in law. Not always the woman is responsible for not conceiving. πŸ‘

Ishaan, this destiny's not so favorite child.. a man who despite having a painful life always.. took care of a stranger's kid. And how well did he do that..the one who was ready to sacrifice his own life for saving the Hooda's and his Preet.😳

Preet, Rizwaan's patakha punjaaban. Here we had a female protagonist who was not afraid to talk about her feelings. Who kept on asking, demanding, fighting for what she thought she deserved.. 😳

And above all.. apart from the gripping story ( yes a few loopholes too, but then who or what is perfect.. nahi?? )

It's the acting that was just freaking awesome.. Iqbal and Mona.. you guys have been a revelation.. i can still blush when Preet says ab darr nahi lagta ishaan, or her,, bakiyon ka pata nahi lekin mera chaand aa gaya,, and the spine chilling last night's.. hamara bachcha and her calling him Rizwaaan... with an extra emphasis on Rizwaaan..ufff ufff uffessttt..

thanks to the channel we were forced to not be able to see Preet's side of the story in detail. But whatever she got.. she outshone herself with every passing episode..

Iqbal Khan.. aapke kya kehne.. as SoHu will say.. aap toh dil, kidney, lever sab lo ❀️ every small nuance you showed,, just makes me guffaw over it..cannot get over your mera bachcha?? And then, ammi ne diya tha and breaking down.. have cried n number of times when you cried, got emotional or just kept talking.. it's a revelation for us.. you have grown as an actor so much..

No wonder you two got the critics awards for this.. you deserve it totally..πŸ‘

Best part of the Pyar ko ho jane do?.. the mindboggling discussions we have had here at I-F.. i was fortunate enough to be a tiny part of it.. but our diggaj members.. aditya_anjaana(Rifah), SoHu(Sohini), Loveforlife(Raveena), pinkeye(Payal), itsoksammy(Akki), Steph, Fanatasia(Kinza), Peeyara(Naseem), Rollingstones(Asmita), llQueenMinionll(Ishaa)...

(psst.. sorry if i missed any names) they put four moons on this forum.. matlab ke char chand laga diye bhai πŸ‘

Jaate jaate..A few expressions..

When Shergil had a scene, and he would make an entry, we all were like..

When Rizwaan and Shergil came in one frame on screen...

When Riz Preet hugged we had talked about the dimensions..it was magic..

When it was Shergil's popat.. we all went..

https://49.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4e343ImCU1qdvraco1_500.gif

When Shergil made W*F statements..

When there was an unexpected twist in the story

And last but not the least..

when we protested for the show.. sony tv was like

https://www.ketto.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/lesser-brains.gif

All this has been so memorable that for me..

Anyways

For this aaahmaaazing journey and for you all i will say.. Pyar ko ho Jane do until we meet in the next post πŸ˜ƒ

~ Rizwaan Ahmed Khan ~

(Ishaan Hooda)

This man is poetry.

He is the perfect storm. He is the serene calm. He is love. He is destruction. He is the shining day. He is the pitch black night. He is the blazing sun; he is the peaceful moon.

This man, as his best friend puts it, committed three sins

Mohabbat karna

Preet se mohabbat karna

Aur us sey bepanah mohabbat karna.

Rizwaan Ahmed Khan was born in India's paadosi mulk and was the only son of his loving parents. Life was perfect as it would be for any pampered child until one day, he sees his parents killed in front of him. He hides under the bed and keeps his hands on his mouth to suppress his screams as bullets tear apart his parents' bodies.

Alone as he was, he gets shelter in a terrorist camp headed by BABA. Baba, who is a head of a radical terrorist agency, with an ulterior motive to create misunderstandings between India and the padosi mulk and to keep his weapon business flourishing brainwashes Rizwaan and other kids of tender age with the idea of revenge.

He associates himself with Padosi mulk and Islam to manipulate his followers, when in reality he heads a radical agency which doesn't belong to any country or religion

He brainwashes rizwaan to believe that his parents were killed by Indian authorities and now he must prepare himself for revenge. His only duty is to save his country and avenge his parents.

Thus begins the growing up of Rizwaan amidst hate and destruction. Rizwaan is a trained terrorist. He has spent his life in bunkers and caves. He is a pro at weapon handling and is everything that demands hate .. but .. you cannot hate him, because under this hard exterior is still a scared 6-year-old who will tug at your heart.

Rizwaan's assignment brought him to India as an undercover spy who enters the famous Hooda family of Delhi as ISHAAN HOODA - their long lost nephew. The motive was simple - Hoodas supply tanks to the Indian army and thus Rizwaan's presence in their home and business will be a pathway of leaking all the confidential information regarding the Indian Defence to the terrorist group, which rizwaan believes will help his country.

While preparing to be Ishaan Hooda, he gets to know that ishaan and his family died and left behind a few months old daughter of Ishaan. As he grew up as an orphan so he refuses to give this fate to another child thus takes the baby along with him

Although he was suppose to enter with a rock solid heart, but somewhere along the course .. it started beating.

The deprived child who lost family love couldn't help melting down when he entered this normal family, when the three children of the Hooda family accepted Rizwaan's persona of Ishaan as their elder brother. The senior Hoodas nurtured him as their son and Rizwaan's hard exterior cracks due to the beating heart.

And as if the the family love wasn't enough for him to melt down, then comes Preet .. the daughter of Senior Hooda's friend who lost all her family in a terrorist attack. They both bond over the baby Rizwaan brought and the family gets them married.

No matter how hard Rizwaan tried to stay aloof, he couldn't help but get attracted towards Preet, to the extent that he fell in love with her deeply and hopelessly.

His guilt and dilemma of excruciating pain of choosing to be loyal to his country or love crushes Rizwaan from inside, he bleeds to the extent that he makes himself numb to everything. He loves her, yet chooses the path to destroy her completely .. only to make her strong enough to handle his betrayal.

He makes her cry and every time .. every single time cries with her. He looks at her from a distance and prays to God that only if he could convey his love to Preet ..

and in his last moments the Almighty listens to his prayer .. Preet accepts him and forgives him, and refuses to leave his side till the very end, even if it was accepting death with him.

AlMighty gives him a chance to redeem .. he aborts his mission realising the true faces of his agency and his Allah gave him the happiness of feeling his child - and the eternal bliss of dying with the love of his life.

Rizwaan would be an enigma for those who saw his journey, he will be that question which you can spend your life answering ..

Main hamesha yahin rahn ga Preet .. yehi meri jagah hai main hamesha yehi rahn ga .. Tumhare pass ..

Itna hi bharam rehne do k Rizwaan Ahmed Khan ghadaar nahi hai ..

mujhe nai pata tha main kisi se itni mohabbat karn ga k aur kuch kar nahi paon ga ..

Papa hamesha kavya k dil main rahen gey .. uski dhadkan ban kar ..

Ap mujhe beta kehta haina .. mujhe bht acha lagta hai ..

Akhri baar tum se keh raha hon .. meri rooh pe agar kisi ka haq hai .. toh sirf tumhara Preet..

Rizwaan's character sketch would be incomplete without mentioning Mohammad Iqbal Khan. This man breathed life in fiction. He made us cringe with his pain. He made us cry with his dillema. He made us pray for a fictional character. He made us look up at sky and pray .. Oh God end this pain .. please end his pain ... Iqbal Khan connected to Rizwaan Ahmed Khan. His pain, his smile, his heartbroken childhood. He conveyed it on screen like poetry. He conveyed every single expression like a storm in motion. It was unable to take eyes off him in very single frame. You look at Iqbal and you wonder .. is this sincere portrayal possible? Is this sincere acting possible? You look at him and wonder .. is he really acting? Is he really NOT rizwaan? This pain depiction .. how is rizwaan still fiction? Rizwaan has to be real .. this portrayal cannot be just acting.

So Thank You Iqbal, thank you for loving Rizwaan so much and gifting us with a character that will stay with us forever.

~ Preet Kaur Bhullar ~

(Preet Ishaan Hooda)

She is Rizwaan's punjabi Phataaka. The woman who did NOT give-up on her love till her very last breath. She forgives him seeing his circumstances and does not leave him .. chose to die with him because she always said ..

Main tumhare bagier kabhi reh nai paon gin ..

Since beginning she was today's woman who will not shy being hopelessly in love with her husband yet will not compromise on her self respect. She is strong enough to look in his eye and give him a piece of mind and still takes care of his breakfast.

Preet comes from a haunting past where her happy family was destroyed by a massacre held by terrorists and she remains the sole survivor, and that too with a price. The terrorists not only killed her entire family on her wedding day but molested her, which left a deep wound on her soul.

She is the pillar of the home, a house wife by choice and has taken over the reasonability of the entire home on her shoulders. She is a strong headed person who agrees to marry a man because she is too attached to her daughter, and then make sure that she fills in the lives of those two with colors and happiness.

She is a woman who listens her husband shout at her that he is in love with his first wife and doesn't break down. She stays strong and still tries to pick up broken pieces of whatever is left to mend her relation.

Until one day, her whole world shatters right in front of her, she gets to know the reality of the man she is in love with. Being a patriot that she is, she chooses not to break down but hand him over to the authorities. She steps forward to make him surrender, but during that process she comes to know the truth his beloved went through.

She goes to him and makes him realise his epihany. She becomes the light Rizuaan kept asking his Almighty to lead him out of the darkness.

"tumhain mehfooz rahi rahin hn rizwaan .. "

Maine zindagi main bus ik insaan se mohabbat ki hai .. aur wo tum ho ..

Koi tumhain waise nahi jaanta na jaise main jaanti hn ..

Just as rizwaan is complete without Iqbal's mention, Preet is incomplete without Mona's mention. This girl created a beauty on screen. An alone girl who falls in love with her husband and selflessly never leaves his side was done beautifully on screen. She made Rizwaan ki Preet come to life ..

~ Kavya Hooda ~

She is Ishaan Hooda's daughter which Rizwaan brings to India with him, but along the line, she became Rizwaan's angel. His guiding light. his first connection with humanity.

Rizwaan loved and pampered her like his own child. He unconditionally became a parent to her, and kavya becomes the reason of Preet entering his life. She becomes the binding force of Rizwaan and Preet - their angel , their baby daughter. This girl always remains his saviour, and will be Rizwaan's first baby. The girl who lives behind to tell the rest of the world about the story of her parents.

I am sure merey mom dad heaven main beth kar sab ko apni love story suna rahen hngey..

~Bade papa and Bade maa~

(Mr. Amarnath Hooda & Mrs. Alka Hooda)

~Amarnath Hooda(Bade Papa)~

A strong headed self made man who lives and breathes for his country. He heads the Hooda industries which supplies the Indian defense military tanks at zero profit. At home he is a father to three children and then brings home his nephew as a redemption for not having patched up with his brother after a fight, so decides to bring his son to his home.

He is strong headed, strict, but at the same time loving and caring towards his family. His pride is his achievement, his children and his country.

~Alka Hooda(Bade Maa)~

The mother figure, the warmth of the Hooda Mansion. She has been married to Amarnath Hooda for 35 years and has gone through thick and thin with him. She loves her daughter in law like her daughter and is not afraid of always criticizing and joking around her daughters. She is patient, she is smart, she is extremely loving!

~Bebe~

Bebe is Amarnath Hooda's mother, the most senior member of the Hooda family. She is sweet, strict, caring and loving person who loves her family, her children, grand children a lot.

~Trisha Hooda~

She is today's girl. She manages the family business, she has a boyfriend from a different religion. She is not afraid to announce that she wants to become the Vice President of the company and neither is she afraid to tell her boyfriend that she will work after marriage. She is smart, educated, yet she is warm enough to run to her elder brother for advice and get scared of her father. Trisha is an example of a modern urban girl .

~Bilal~

Bilal is a muslim boy from a middle class family who falls in love with a hindu girl(Trisha Hooda) of the upper class. He undergoes a mental dillema of whether to share his past affair with Trisha or not but then does not step back until she forgives him. He stood as an symbol of an indian muslim as well.

~Neeti Khurana~

The second married daughter of the Hoodas who has a happy go lucky approach towards her life. She has two kids and is a daily soap actress. She will stand with her Bhabhi even when she is misunderstood by everyone and will make sure they both succeed. She is also a today's girl - who will work, but still be the anchor of her family.

~Kuku Khurana~

Kuku is the son in law of the Hoodas. The husband of thier middle daughter Neeti. He is a detective by profession and extremely sensitive and loving towards his own and in laws family. He is also one of the few people to get really closr with Rizwaan's identity revealation but fails. His love for his wife and children is always coveyed through teasing but in all the tough moments he has every time sought for their support.

~Siddharth Hooda~

The youngest of the Hoodas who aspired to be a comedian but at the ended up joining family business. He suffers from betrayal and heartbreak but manages his way back to life because he loves his family.

He is the person who steps forward and nurtures Kavya like Rizwaan used to do.

~Sana~

She is Rizwaan's only confidant. His only humraaz. The reason Preet forgives Rizwaan. She si the person who surrenders to her humanity and reveals the truth how Rizwaan was manipulated all his life to Preet. She is the first person to die for the love of Rizwaan and Preet .. apne dost pe qurbaan ho gayi sana ..

Sana and Rizwaan had been in India for mission the longest and they both have shared a close friendship apart from the legal details. Sana understands rizwaan's dilemma, his love for his wife and family, yet keeping all that aside, she is constantly here to remind Rizwaan of his true mission and that he shouldn't fall too much for the Hooda family. She was the first person to pose that question to Rizwaan which changed his entire life ..

tumhain Preet se mohabbat tu nahi ho gayi?

and the first person to make him realise

Preet ko tum apna hissa maan chuke ho .. jab tum usek sath hotey ho na? tumhare chehre pe ik ajeeb sa sukkon hota hai ..

and she was the person who gave him one last advice which earned him the bliss of dying with his love ..

Ye mission rook do Rizwaan .. Baba ne zindagi bhar jhoot bola tum se .. ye log kisi k nahi hain ..

Sana will always be that friend who died for friendship - for Rizwaan's purity. She was another of God's compensation to Rizwaan for not giving him his childhood.

~Atif~

Another of rizwaan's and Sana's partner, who is aware of Baba's heinous crimes of killing Rizwaan's parents and manipulating him throughout his life.

~Baba ~

This show did not have a rolling eyes vamp, instead its presented the biggest terror governing the world at this time as its antagonist. Baba is the head of the radical agency which is responsible for misunderstandings between the two countries. He has manipulated rizwaan and many children of his age to run his terror organisation which flourishes on illegal trading of weapons.

~Jay Shergil~

The RAW agent who has a doubt of Ishaan being linked to terrorists. His character was a big blunder.

I still remember that day I was just browsing on YouTube and IF...and stumbled upon the family picture wala promo of PKHJD... Every one dressed up in red and black.. KKKG types.. The promo looked impressive... The lead couple looked good together. When was this serial starting? Ohh it had started already.. I had missed around 5 or 6 episodes... Let's give it a shot I thought.. I ended up watching all the 6 one hour episodes back to back... So much talent.. Fresh faces... Each episode filled with comedy, romance and drama.. I was totally addicted.. Then came the twist.. This was not the regular run of the mill Ekta show... The lead guy was a spy!!! It was a finite series!! All the more interesting...

The PKHJD forum was all divided... Is the story about India Pakistan? Is the serial disrespecting the Muslim religion? People debating... Some vowing never to watch it... Some thinking in a matured manner.. Many people left... Few others who looked at the situation logically stayed back... After all it was not about any religion being bad... It was about bad people twisting the teachings of religion in an incorrect manner to suit their own needs, their own profit and power... Brainwashing individuals under the name of religion.

Ishaan and Preet stole our hearts... A couple staying together as husband wife, Emotionally so close but with no physical relationship between them...unka Nazre takrana... Fingers touching... Awkwardness.. conversations... Ekdum old school... but their scenes made us forget every other romance...

There was always an underlying pathos in their relationship. The dark clouds of separation threatening to fog their future...because the Hooda family's favourite son, brother, father and Preet's beloved husband Ishaan was not the actual Ishaan Hooda, but he is Rizwaan Ahmed Khan an agent from a neighboring country.. Who had come to destroy India, to take advantage of the Hooda family... A man with a brainwashed mind but a beating heart..Living under the cover of Ishaan Hooda for years, creeping into the hearts of the Hooda's and Preet.

Rizwaan.. A man who lost his family to terrorism.. but who did not realise when the Hooda's and Preet crept into his heart and made a permanent place there.. He fell in love with them...A brainwashed man who was taught to hate by the terrorist Baba, learnt to love... A character unseen on Indian television before..

Preet Kaur Bhullar too lost her family to terrorism in which Baba and his gang were involved.. Like her name, Preet is a loving soul... She loved the Hooda's with all her heart. She couldn't remain angry with anybody for long.. On the surface Preet looks like a typical BT bahu but the way she stands for her own self respect makes us realise there is nothing typical about this character... Never once did we see her crying in self pity...

As if predetermined by God.. Rizwaan and Preet meet...and circumstances led to their marriage... Both become parents to Ishaan's daughter Kavya. To avoid complications for himself later Ishaan refuses to take their marriage to the next level and tells Preet he is in love with his dead first wife Meghna.. Preet and Ishaan become best friends and life goes on for them... Preet trusts Ishaan very much.. she or the other Hooda's have no idea that he is actually passing all the secret army information he can gather to Baba and his gang while he works along with his uncle in the Hooda Tanks company.. Baba's big plan is to create terror in India on its Republic day. Preet falls in love with Ishaan but Ishaan does not reciprocated her feelings though he loves her to bits, As he knows one day he has to leave her and go plus he knows that Preet will hate him once she knows he was (though he did not kill anyone) involved with the gang that killed her family. Enter Jai Shergill an Indian agent who is hunting for Rizwaan... He gets some Intel because of which he realises that Ishaan is Rizwaan, but Rizwaan cunningly always out does him.. Shergill accuses Ishaan of being a terrorist in front of the Hood family but each and every member of the family supports Ishaan. The real Ishaan's saali who comes to live with the Hooda's too realises he is an imposter but Rizwaan cunningly proves her wrong... As 26th January comes closer.. Rizwaan realises that Preet is too much in love with him and he has to some how push her away.. He starts to accuse her of doubting him and pushes her away by telling her he is so much in love with Meghna. Meanwhile Baba reaches India and keeps a meeting in Panchameshwar..Ishaan leaves for the meeting under some pretext. Preet too follows him to Panchameshwar due to certain circumstances. There Ishaan accuses Preet of not trusting him. Preet loses her cool too and question Ishaan regarding the way he was behaving.. Both are emotional strung and circumstances lead to consummation. Next day Preet is happy thinking everything will now be fine between them but Rizwaan on the other hand blames himself for complicating things and giving Preet hopes. He tells her that what ever happened between was wrong and once more throws Meghnas name at her. Preet is very hurt and both start driving apart.. Living as strangers in the same room. Eventually Preet realises she is pregnant and runs to tell Ishaan but she hears him talking about the 26th terror plan for next day and sees him offering Namaaz.. This shatters her.. She realises Ishaan is the terrorist Rizwaan. She tells Shergill about the terror plan. Rizwaan leaves early next morning to execute his plan.. According to which Rizwaan will blow himself up after passing some important information to his partner Sana. Preet reaches there and begs Shergill to let her go inside to convince Rizwaan not to execute his plan.. Preet begs Rizwaan to stop and let her in the room.. tells him she knows his truth but Rizwaan her to go away... At last Preet tells him she is pregnant. Rizwaan is shocked and moved he opens the door and touches her stomach, their baby.. Both crying.. Preet tells him they have a chance. Meanwhile Babas gang shoot Sana and before dying she tells Rizwaan over the wireless that it was Baba who killed his parents and not the Indian army.. Rizwaan is shocked.. Baba's gang is knocking at the door telling Rizwaan to hand over to them the secret files stored on a device that can be destroyed by a bomb only. Rizwaan realise the only option he has is to blow himself up and destroy the device too.. He begs Preet to go away but Preet tells him if he has to die then she will die along with him.. Both realise they have no choice.. They embrace and Rizwaan pulls the trigger.. Both die in the blast.. and foiling Baba's plan.. At the end we see that an older Kavya has written a book about her parents and the love the lost and found..

Mona Singh and Iqbal Khan...superlative in their portrayal of Ishaan Rizwaan Preet.. Every emotion and action perfectly executed... Their comfort level with each other... Completely in sync. Call it whatever.. vibes, charisma, or chemistry... jo bhi hai..just fabulous! They complemented each other beautifully.. At the start many felt Mona and Iqbal as a television couple were mismatch and would never click... Yes they were mismatched, not the conventional television couple.. But this unconventionality is what made them unique..

~RizReet Ki Kahani~

Ishaan and Preet was the lifeline of the Hooda house, they kept the family intact and grounded. Preet's entire universe revolved around Ishaan, their daughter Kavya, and the Hoodas'. The one thing that kept him sane was, knowing that she would always be there for him no matter what came their way. Her dependence on him scared him. He constantly worried about her well-being. Nothing else seemed to matter more than the smile on her face, and the happiness of their family. What Preet didn't know was that, the man she took to be her husband wasn't really the person he said he was. Did this stop Ishaan/Rizwaan from committing completely to this rather strange yet beautiful relationship? No.

In an era where people refuse to make compromises let alone sacrifices in the name of love, Rizwaan and Preet are two individuals who selflessly devoted themselves to each other. , Torn between the loyalty towards his country, and the love he has for Preet, Rizwaan was in constant dilemma because he knew that he couldn't betray either. He knew he wouldn't be able to live with knowing the fact that he couldn't give a 100% to his mission, but he also knew that it would definitely kill him if he lost Preet, that survival would be impossible.

They seem like the ideal happily married couple whom everybody adored, and were thought to be deeply in love. But in reality, it was more profound than that. They meant the world to each other. Regardless of the unspoken I Love You's', the love and the care they had for each other was clearly perceptible. What kept their relationship intact was trust. He was her confidante, the one person she could trust without any hesitation. She was his lifeline. The sole reason he felt human most of the time. She knew it was love, he refused to reciprocate. He believed it to be much more than that, his sole reason of existence. Though deeply connected, they seem unaware of how dependent they are on each other. Knowing that the marriage was a mere compromise forces Rizwaan to push Preet away, he tries his best to distance himself from her, yet he fails. She confronts him, demanding to know where she stands, demanding to know what place she holds in his life.

She always seemed to stand in between him and whatever misery that came his way, not only was she his weakness, but his pillar of strength as well. Nothing scared him more than losing her, not even a bullet to the chest.

Regardless of how much he had tried to push her away, she always managed to come closer to him effortlessly. The effect and the hold she had on him, baffled him. Regardless of what excuses he gave her, she had always managed to decrease the space between them. They were not husband and wife in the true sense, and yet they were able to understand each other and read everything written on their faces. They were poles apart and yet so close. When he had finally given in to his heart, he was overwhelmed with guilt, the guilt of not being able to be the man Preet thought he was, the kind of man he wanted to be, for Preet.

Both Rizwaan and Preet were duty bound. One morally obliged to protect the security of her country from falling in to the wrong hands, and the other, on a mission to avenge his parents. They clearly had no chance at a win-win situation. Once Rizwaan's facade was revealed, Preet was torn between the duty she had towards her country and the love she had for the man whom she thought was Ishaan Hooda. When she learns that Rizwaan was just a mere pawn in a plot which had nothing to do with him, she runs to his side hoping to stop him from making what could possibly be the biggest mistake of his life. She tells him that it had been a conspiracy all along, and he was nothing more than a mere puppet and baba the puppeteer. He realizes that he had been played all his life. Preet comes to the realization that regardless of not being Ishaan Hooda, she is and will always be in love with the man that she has been sharing her life with for the past five years.

The revelation hits Rizwaan like a ton of bricks. He despises himself for everything that he has done, for putting Preet's life in danger along with other innocent lives. When she reveals that she is carrying his baby he is overwhelmed. He hesitates to hold her in his arms, instead drops to his knees. The mere thought of not being a good man for the woman he loved kept eating at him.

She asks him not to go on with the mission, and that they can make things better. She assures him that no matter what comes their way, she will always be there standing beside him just as she has always been. He tells that there isn't even a slight possibility for him to survive, and that she should leave. She insists on staying by his side and refuses to leave alone when he needs her the most. Both of them embrace their fate with a smile on their face, happy and content with knowing that they were finally able to be completely honest with each other for the first time in their lives.

Rizwaan and Preet will forever be cherished and remembered with love for all the beautiful moments that they have given us. They are lovers eternal. Their love is eternal. And they shall remain in our hearts eternally.

Scene 1 ~Kahani Ishaan aur Preet Ki~

PERFECTION IS WHEN YOU AND I Go through Anything and still stand strong together.
Two people bound by fate and travelling together in the journey of life as Perfect Soulmates- That is the story of Ishaan and Preet. The ultimate couple who are envied by all others and together they are a unbreakable team. The thread which holds them together- LOVE for their liitle angel Kavya. But isn't it said that PERFECTION IS AN ILLUSION? I guess that's because behind joyous masks, there are unanswered questions, unexpressed feelings and yearning to be loved. Ishaan aur Preet ki kahani bhi kuch aise hi shuru huyi thi. A perfect marriage, the most compatible partners yet there were lot of unsaid words between them... To be said, to be heard. That's how it all began...

Scene 2~The NIGHTMARE UNFOLDS~

"Behind every mask there is a face and behind that a story "
Dreams breathe their last when reality sets in. The reality which was shown to look deep into Ishaan Hooda's perfect happy life , it only screamed loudly for one thing LIGHT. He was the man living in excruciating pain for longest period of time. A man who has the sole reason for survival- Retribution, to bring justice to his dead parents. His identity was just a fade , to hide a man named Rizwan Ahmed khan... A man who only knows Revenge. But still his face beneath that mask wanted to tell a different saga altogether... Always.
Scene 3 ~My Smile is a lie~

"Under every smile is a person that been through the most pain"
One fine day Preet Ishaan Hooda revisted her past accidentally and it evoked extreme reactions from ever so bubbly, vivacious Preet telling a different story of her life- A story of loss; of her loved ones, of her dreams, of her future, of her peace of mind, lastly loss of sense of feeling the love.Losing her loved ones once scarred her permanently and thus she has tightened the grip to hold onto whatever is there for her. Her world means Ishaan and she cant let go of him at any cost. Her mask scared her Ishaan too...

Scene 4 ~Seeking answers~

Embedded image permalink
"Look for the answer inside your question"
When no answers coming from inner voice, there is helpless surrender to the Almighty to seek guidance by mere mortals always. We all go through crisis& dilemma in our life and end up asking the Divine- What is it in our destiny and where HE is taking us?The protagonist was no different and thus it came across as a very realistic one.The painfully beautiful line which stole my heart- Kyun mujhe mohabbat ke raastepe le jaa raha hai aur kahan hai woh mohabbat ka raasta. A man who yearned for love life long, is not allowed to love yet searching for that with all his heart . Did he get the answers?
Scene 5 ~Love between the cracks~
" When I am fighting with You, I',m really fighting for us"
THe demon residing within a troubled man came visting Rizwan and Preet to show that not only is he living with darkness, his thought process is confined too to acknowledge that his life partner had a past too. His rage unleashed on her to show that sense of possessiveness as a spouse is suffocating. But Preet unapologetically refuted to express her disgust and admitted that reciprocation of emotions are necessary to sustain a relationship. Its important as a need to feel being loved. Both were fighting with each other or for each other? Was that their fear of loss? Love makes you fight harder always...
Scene 6 ~The Promise~
" Love is souvenir once given never forgotten, Never let it disappear"
Rizwan and Preet vowed to be together forever by performing an auspicious ritual which they missed- their roka ceremony. But the most precious moment came when the vow got showered with gifts- Sweet old memories from one and in return a promise to keep the beloved safe till infinity. Rizwan gave up his dilemma and embraced Preet to let her know that what his heart truly wanted- To keep her protected, to hide her from all the harsh dangers. He gifted her the sybol which he carried all along as that was the last connection he had with his past, his ammi. The heart breaking part he knew his departure was destined yet he chose to safeguard her tomorrow where he never saw himself beside her. TUMHE MAHFOOZ RAKHNA CHAHTA HUN PREET, HAMESHA... ECHOED in silence.

Scene 7~The Confession~

"I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul."
When true love gets responded by indifference the heart aches and bleeds profusely. Preet Ishan Hooda who loved with all her self the man in her life to get snubbed time and again by him. She felt ignored, she felt defeated, she felt tired fighting the ghosts of his past. She was exhausted trying to find her place in his heart. The feeling was so overwhelming and gave her a sense of emptiness that she wanted to take a leave. Little did she knew that her man had so much to say yet never found suitable words to express. But desperate times call for despwrate measures and finally Rizwan Ahmed Khan who remain caged within his self built defence broke down. The words were his genuine feelings conversing with her soul-
Aakhri Baar tumse Keh raha Hun ke agar Mere Zindagi Par ksis ka Haq hai toh who Sirf Tumhara hai
Meri ROOH par kisi ka Haq hai... Toh who Sirf tumhara hai...
She wanted to feel each letter of those spoken words, so she hid herself in that embrace which means the ultimate destination for her, the last stop of her journey.
Scene 8 ~The Cold Harsh reality~

"Broken Dreams Around The floor, a shattered hope- is there no more? "
When we cannot change the reality it is better to close the eyes to have an escape. But at times the bad things refuse to die. Rizwan and Preet's destiny were as such that despite repeated attempts the pieces of shattered dreams injured them deeply. Preet couldn't believe her eyes knowing her joyous reality of life was wearing an ugly mask, she wanted to rejoice on the occasion of arrival of her child, but life slapped her with brutal truth about her companion. On the other hand Rizwan always knew he has no rights to nurture any dremas but yet hopes refused to leave always. Thus in that final prayer he asked God to show him the path of redemption, questioning can't there be any more tomorrows of new beginnings?
Rizwan and Preet found themselves crippled inside as their harsh reality showed them the opaque mirror of future where they are not together ever...
Scene 9 ~Bidding Goodbye~
Embedded image permalink
" True goodbyes are the ones never said and explained."
Rizwan Ahmed Khan lived in pain through out his life like an orphan, an outsider craving for a sense of belonging. But He was the nurturer of this little angel who brought smile to his grey shaded traumatic life. She was the guiding angel- Papa Ki princess , daddy's little girl. Her connection with him was like divine intervention, thus when Rizwan hugged her one last time knowing it was the final goodbye to his princess, he choked., died a bit inside. It is always said that parents live within their children's heart and soul when they leave. Rizwan reminede her that saying- PAPA hamesha AAp ke Dil me rahenge, Dhadkan Banke... We all cried knowing Kavya will surely live and so will Rizwan being her heartbeat, being the doting father always, forever...

Final Scene~Beginning to a place away from right and wrong~

ishraat - qatra hai darya main fanaa ho jana ..

dard ka had se guzarna hai dawa ho jana ..

They say that no matter how long the wait is .. it eventually ends.

They say no matter how dark the night is .. the dawn rises ..

and no matter how long the separation is .. union DOES happen.

There is a saying that goes like it has to end happily otherwise its not the end. For everybody Rizwaan and Preet died, but for them it was their only happy ending. They knew this was the only end they wanted, going to a land far away from right and wrong, just with each other with contentment, peace, love, and .. their baby.

The ending scene of PKHJD was meaningful, deep and poignant as everything else in the story. It ended their story with every closure they ever wanted.

It begins with Preet's conscious forgiving Rizwaan as she finally is able to empathise with him after Sana tells her all the truth.

Desperate to save the love of her life from ultimate doom, she runs. She runs to Rizwaan before he sends all the secret documents to terrorists, but as always, the path to him wasn't easy.

A physical barrier, in this case , a locked door was halting her way. Preet was always halted by several barriers whenever she wanted to reach Rizwaan. Earlier it was her past, then it was his presumed first marriage, but this was the most difficult, she had to make him believe that his entire life was a lie. He was manipulated and cheated by the person he owed his life too, and she didn't have time.

She bangs the door. She bangs the door hard for him to let her in, but always haunted and chained by his demons, he snubs her. Shouts at her to leave. Accuses her of lying but as Preet was, she doesn't gives up. She keeps on banging and Rizwaan keeps on snubbing her.

Rizwaan's hands move like a robot in taking pictures of the papers. He was torn between listening to the love of his life shouting at him and believing what he was made to believe since childhood.

His hands kept on moving until finally Preet made him stop. Made him stop by shouting and telling him about his baby in his womb.

Rizwaan stops. His hands freeze. His mind numbs. He takes blank steps, as if unconsciously pulled towards the door with a string and throws it open - and they look at each other .. For the first time .. Rizwaan and Preet come in front of each other.

Every other serial begins with the main protagonists coming in front of each other, this one ended on it.

There was also God's conspiracy, he saved Rizwaan from ever having to see that immeasurable hate in Preet's eyes, he brought them in front of each other only when she had forgiven him .. God heard Rizwaan's prayers in his last moments ..

Rizwaan looks at her, and asks her to repeat what she said .. and she does .. this time choking on her voice that she is pregnant. A man who yearned to have SOMEONE as HIS own .. HIS own relation falls down on his knees hearing he has a child existing ..

He raises his hands to feel it in Preet's stomach .. just as he always was hesitant, he stays hesitant this time also. his conscious always held him guilty and never made him think he was worth of any happiness, any joy .. any good thing. It reflected now also. He stays hesitant but then finally softly touches it .. choking down .. "mera bacha ..",

Preet holds his hands on her stomach and completes it .. "hamara bacha .. "

Her words of acknowledging the baby as theirs .. hamara .. completed every prayer Rizwaan ever did to his Almighty. His prayers of Preet's forgiveness, his prayers of one last chance. his prayers of never having to face her hatred, all his fears, all his desperate prayers were answered.

He still is bowed down to feel his baby when Preet says something which yet again fulfils another pf his prayer.

"Aisa mat karo .. Rizwaan .."

He looks up.

Yes. Yes. She accepted his identity. His biggest prayer was answered. It was his Preet addressing him with his own name, but was Rizwaan's life ever easy? At that single moment he remembers Baba and his favours on him .. he steps back and desperately tries to close to the door refusing to listen to her. He asks to her leave by looking in her eyes saying .. "main terrorist hn Preet" but had EVER Preet gave up on her love? Ever? No. and she didn't do it this time either.

She doesn't let him close the door and looks his eyes to make him believe that she was there for the love of her life. She looks at him and keeps on speaking about all the possibilities that could give them a happy ending, a new beginning, a second chance.

She asks him not to do this, they could run away to a far away place, they would go to jail together, they could do anything but will stay together, and finally she tells him that his only confidant was also killed by the people he thought were his saviours.

Going through several moments, and realising sana's last words were to abort the mission. He looks at Preet with the moment of surrender, moment of realisation, but it comes when death is hovering and banging their door.

Rizwaan realises that the only way to protect these papers from those terrorists if he blows up the whole place. He asks Preet to leave but was it possible?

He tries to push her away but there falls the ultimate token of their protection .. The taveez of rizwaan's mother .. He panics seeing Preet's protection fell off. He quickly makes her wear it but Preet pulled it away .. "tumhain mehfooz rakh rahi hn Rizwaan ..", and she throws it out of the window .. and announces .. if he cant leave .. then she wont either ..

Rizwaan who always wanted life for her begs her to leave .. pleads and begs .. but he fails .. and then he stops begging .. They look at each other .. and there it is .. the realisation .. the realization that they were going to die .. together .. the decision was made ..

Right when it happens .. their baby chokes with desperation of talking with her parents. Kavya cries for her parents and is soothed by sid, who unconsciously asks her to close her eyes .. and on the other hand .. Rizwaan and Preet embrace each other .. and then .. vanish to a place away from right and wrong ..

The whole world stops for a moment. Stops to pay homage to the ultimate sacrificial love of Rizuaan and Preet.

The show ends with Rizwaan's angel, Kavya writing a book about the story of her parents, their love and sacrifice, and in her neck .. glows the taveez that her parents threw out of the window.. Parents being parents always . even in their unconscious mind, Rizwaan and Preet left a protection for their angel.

Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do ends with Kavya telling the world that Pyar ki bus ik waja hoti hai .. Pyar ..

It ends with every prayer of Rizwaan getting answered. It ends with Rizwaan getting his redemption. It ends with his love finally reaching his Preet. It ends with him feeling the heartbeat of his child, it ends with him hugging the love of his life without a facade.

It ends with every plea Preet ever made, it ends with her realising that her woe of being the second woman in her husband's life was baseless. It ends with giving her that one assurity she ever wanted .. the assuritythat her husband loved her. She was the first woman to enter his life .. and he loved her will his last breath ..

It ended with both of them in each other's arms without a facade .. it ended with them leaving to a place away from right and wrong .. together .. It ended with their happily ever after ..

~Rizwan Ahmed Khan/Ishaan Hooda~

He was like a lamp for the hoodas, kept burning himself to give them light but darkness was not his friend but his fate...

The Man who was meant to hate and be hated couldn't but hurt a fly, he was torn between what was right and what he was taught to believe was right..
yet he fought , fought to honor his love and his idea of the truth, little did he know his well wishers were his enemy and his revenge has no fruit..
In this duality of life he is caught in a crossfire of emotions, fear and pain. He did not pla to hurt anyone but his own pain, he found her, he recieved her love for him and found his love for her after all love happens when you dont plan it..

[Courtesy: llQueenMInionll]

~Preet Kaur Bhullar/Ishaan Hooda~

She gave her life everything she had, lived everymoment , she filled in happiness to every soul she encountered, but one night her light floundered
She found her self betrayed by destiny , fate punished her and took away all the love she had to cherish she had forgotten how to live and relish
But all was not lost, fate would have it so , she found love, she found a family, she found her sanctuary

Ishaan , her love her new found reason to be happy and the hoodas who were her armor
She was happy again and love was hers to be garnerd..

But then she was tested yet again, she felt betrayed and cheated, fate tested her yet again
She fought through it all and now she is awakened , despite all odds and evens she just let love happen..

[Courtesy: llQueenMInionll]

~Pyar Ko Ho Jane Do~

A story that is realistic, encompasses real struggles, real issues, real feelings and emotions
Its not easy to say who is right or wrong and what is right or wrong
Because its more than what meets the eye, goes beyond all truths and lies
A story with flawed characters perfectly imperfrct and imperfectly perfect relations
The message is soulful, to do the right thing even if a few mistakes have been amde, to be honest and pure in intentions and actions but most importantly to let love happen..

~RizReet Ki Kahani Kavya Ki Zubani~

Chaand taare ban gaye hai
Meri dhadkan jo the
Mohabbat me kurbaan huye
Deewane do the

Aaina zindagi hai
Toh parchayi unki mein
Saas tham gayi thi
Keh gaye alvida vo hai

Pyaar ka paigaam liye
Aaye do dil the
Dushman mulk the
Hamdard vo bane

Dooriyan mita na paye vo
Kya kar sakte hai
Hone ko bahot kuch hua tha
Par jaanta koi nahi hai

Kahaani sunati hoon main
Aao milkar sunte hai
Paigaam mohabbat ka
Sarhad paar le chalte hai

Jhoot bole the kai sabse
Imaan bhi diya usne
Mohabbat-e-khuda
Sikhaate mere papa the

Bharose toote kai the
Zindagi ruswa gayi thi
Saath chode kai the
Par muskaati meri maa thi

Unki parchayi saath le chalu
Iss taaveez main mein
Sikhaya Bas pyaar mujhe hai
Usi ko baatoon mein

Hone ko bahot kuch hua tha
Hone ko bahot kuch ho sakta tha
Kya kare? Jaane do...
Bas pyaar ko ho jaane do...

~Pyar Ki Kahani RizReet Ki Zubani~

Barkha bemausam barasne do
Dhoop chaaon ko fisalne do
Parchayi tumhari ho jaane do
Bas pyaar ko ho jaane do

Nafraton ki saazish dhundli pad jaye
Hum tum saath ho jaye
Zindagi na milaye toh na sahi
Maut humpe meherbaan ho jaye

Sarhad ko mit jaane do
Tumhara muqaddar
Mera ho jaane do
Tum par kurbaan ho jaane do
Bas pyaar ko ho jaane do

Dhadkan dil ki tham jaye
Tum par hum fanaa ho jaye
Nishaani ye na reh jaye
Kavya parchayi humari ban jaye

Iss taaveez ko reh jaane do
Uss saayein ko beh jaane do
Mujhko saath aa jaane do
Bas pyaar ko ho jaane do

Udte parindey bebhaak jaye
Behte pani ka raasta ban jaye
Apna wajood khud ban jaye
Ishq ke khaatir kurbaan ho jaye

Mazhab mohabbat ban jane do

Khuda bhagwan ek ho jane do
Bas pyaar ko jaane do.

Calmness. Almost an eerie calmness has engulfed me as I write this.. so many emotions come forth. One of them is relief. Finally they are together.

Together in a world where hatred, pain do not exist. A world where there are no sufferings.

This cult.. Pyar ko ho jaane do... Gave us..

A wonderful journey showing how life can be, its irony, of how two souls connected to each other yet can never be together. How humans are brainwashed under the guise of religion and hatred. How life can turn around and give you memories of a life time or just give you the scariest of all experiences one can fathom. How there is still hope for love even in the most pained, cursed life.

Yes this show has given us all.

Every time henceforth when I eat dal chawal, I will remember daal zyada, chawal kam.

Every time I hear the word transport I will think of Preet's personal transport πŸ˜‰

Every time I will think of an angel.. I will see Rizwaan referring Kavya as his angel.

Every time when I will think of pain.. I will remember Rizwaan and Preet

Every time I will think of love, I will see Preet and her Rizwaan.

Every time I hear Ishaan and Preet I will remember, Ishaan ke bina Preet nahi aur Preet ke bina Ishaan nahi.

The lead actors who made Rizwaan and Preet come alive for us viewers, I wonder if there are any words or adjectives that we have not used already or praised their work. These two characters shall be or rather have been etched in our minds forever and ever.

101 days, 48.5 hours, endless moments of introspection, endless moments of being dreaming, endless moments of helpless anger for some mere fictional characters. All this comes to an end today.

Numerous speculations and write-up posts that discussed every scene.

Songs dedicated to the Rizwaan and his Preet.

Our frustrations for the wrong done to them.

All those hopeful posts wishing they could get some respite in their painful lives.

All this comes to an end.

But how do we get over such brilliance.. Right from the gripping storyline to the most amazing dialogues to the top notch acting. While writer Harneet Singh put brilliance on paper, the actors, Mona and Iqbal and the other cast as well, they brought the characters to life and made them immortal for us..

How do we stop thinking about what the fate of the show would have been had the channel hadn't been such a dork.

How do we stop thinking about Rizwaan's dilemma, his pain of hurting his Preet over and over again, his frustration of not being able to reciprocate Preet's love, his helplessness over choosing death instead of Preet. His trying to find solace from Preet, with her mere touch. His praying to his Allah for his loved ones. His pure bond with Kavya. His struggle of continually trying to find a balance between being rizwaan and Ishaan.

How do we stop thinking about Preet's pain? Her insecurities about her relationship with her husband. Her unconditional love for the family, for the daughter who is not hers, her angst at not being able to make a place in her beloved's heart because she thinks it's someone else he loves, her helplessness in trying to understand Rizwaan's truth. Her inner conflict for choosing her nation over her beloved.

And while there was pain.. there were also glimpses of love and passion and friendship.

The Karwa chauth pooja when Preet decides to take the relationship further, Rizwaan rescuing her during the bomb blast, his taking care of her, Preet's shyness, inhibitions edging away slowly, her dinner date planned for Ishaan, their first fight where Preet almost confesses her love for him. Rizwaan manaoing his wife. Rizwaan trying to fulfil his duties by proposing her, his taking blame from Preet, and finally giving in to emotions to take forward their relationship as husband and wife.

So many things to be thankful for, yet so many things to mourn for.

The Plethora of human emotions, family togetherness, cute banter between a mom and son, devar bhabhi, husband and wife, nanad bhabhi, the love between the protagonists, unrequited love to be precise, because there wasn't much time to explore this aspect..Leaves us spellbound and speechless.

Yet the team has given us so much to remember that i want to sing.. abhi na jao chhodkar.. ke dil abhi bharaa nahi..And just like everything..all good things come to an end..We are forced to bid good bye to this beloved show..

So..on behalf of all of us here..

Thank YOU Team Pyar ko ho jaane do.. for giving us an experience of a lifetime. For giving us Rizwaan and Preet ❀️

And one last time..

Lag ja gale.. ke phir yeh.. haseen raat ho naa ho..

Shayad phir iss janam mein.. mulakaat ho naa ho..

Watch this VM to cherish the memories of our RizReet before saying final Good Bye.😳

There is a famous saying in Bengali "Jete dite nahi chai, tobu jete dite hoi" It means that Don't wanna let it go...but still will have to...

Good Bye Pyar Ko Ho Jane Do..You will always be remembered by us.

~Farewell Wishes for PKHJD~

Jhalak29

Suni thi kai dastaane.
Kuch guzre zamane ki
Kuch aaj ki
Un mein thi ek dastaan Preet aur Rizwan ki Bhi
Kahta thi duniya
Ishaan ke bina Preet nahi
Preet ke bina Ishaan nahi
Ishaan Rizwan the aks ek duje ke
Fir Bhi thi Preet unki noor
Fana hue Preet Rizwan kuch Tarah
Ki ab sirf yaad hai unki dastaan
sari duniya ko Sikha Gaye
Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do

.Jayashree.

#WillMissPKHJD😭😭 but #WillNeverForgePKHJD

Fantasia.

Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do! What do i say about this beauty! It is going to live in my heart. Forever.
This show has been special in too man ways to enlist. This show made me learn about life, about relationships, and constantly made me question right and wrong. Always.

Rizwaan Ahmed Khan is my love. His pain, his deprived heart, that innocence in his eyes who automatically connected us to that 6 year old who lost his parents. After having gone through so much he still believed in relations, he still believed in family .. he still believed in love. I learnt rom Rizwaan that how to make your Allah your confidant. Your Creator is not only your master but he is your biggest confidant. Always pray. No doubt he understands every single thought like no one ever can. Pray and keep praying - NEVER stop praying .. because AlMighty loves you like no other, He will listen, and Rizwaan's life is an example of this.

Preet taught me that never ever give up on a relation, and she taught me how to do it while keeping your self respect intact. She taught NEVER give up on the love of your life .. stick by his side because that is what love is ..

and Rizwaan and Preet together taught me how to sacrifice for love. They taught me how to love someone so much that your own existence fizzles out.

and lastly, Thank you Iqbal and Mona, especially Iqbal. Thank you for creating and breathing life in Rizwaan Ahmed Khan,. Thank you for living it and making it immortal. Every single expression, every single dillema that you enacted is going to stay in my heart for its sincere portrayal. Thank You for being so unapologetic about your choices, and being the person that you are.

As Iqbal says, One last time for Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do Baby! ❀️

.SoHu.

What do I really say about the show?

This show has been extremely close to my heart and has turned out to be a great lesson for me on a personal level. In today's world its very difficult to stumble upon a show with so much honesty and made with so much love. The message of the show~ Let Love Happen has such a deep insight to life. Love is what defines our human existence, and this show has provided a beautiful description of love. Rizwaan and Preet and their journey of life and love have been a treat for the soul. Rizwaan's innocence, Preet's strength and RizReet's unparalleled magical presence is what made the show so memorable. Every nuance, every emotion was so delicately handled that it takes me to a trance. One of the major highlights of the show is Rizwaan-Kavya bond imo. I have never seen such a beautifully sketched father-daughter relationship on Indian television. Rizwaan as a father is more close to my heart than Rizwaan , the husband.
Rizwaan Ahmed Khan has been a soul touching individual. Until this show happened, I never knew that such a character could ever be created. His conversations with Almighty, his sense of belonging to the Hoodas and his unmatched love for Preet is what defined love for me..and characters such as him are a rare thing I tell you. And Preet was his messiah, his Messiah, who pulled him out of darkness and led him to a world of divinity!
I don't know what more to say about them cause what I feel for these characters or this show is inexpressible.
I have never been emotionally so moved by any fictional show before. Hence, this show will remain as my favourite for a long long time.
I thank the creatives for giving us PKHJD and teaching us that love is all that we need.
Toh buss,
Pyaar ko ho jaane do. <3

P.S: And this is by far the best forum I've visited so far. One of the most sensible, sane and rocking forum. I've made some beautiful friends here and may God always bless them. Love you all! <3

Once in a life time a show comes to just shakes you up.. to make you aware of the reality and to help you embrace life with whatever it throws at you..

The story of Pyar ko ho jaane do might be that of how terrorism affects humans and how they are used as scapegoats to create rifts between neighbouring countries. But it's been an emotional journey for me. Hence this small attempt.. is an ode..

An ode to the woman, who was scarred for life but rose like a phoenix from her ashes and never gave up.

Who refused to be just a doormat and when the time came, was ready to embrace even death when she knew there was no other life left without her beloved, for she did not want to live in a world where her beloved wasn't.

An ode to the man, who craved for love and was so empty inside yet he chose to just give, give and give everything he had to the family that wasn't his.. who tried so hard but still fell in love with his wife, who tried to keep her safe but couldn't.

An ode to PREET and RIZWAAN..

You gave me hope.. yes.. life sucks at times... it's not a bed of roses. It's screws big time.. you may not get what you want.. but you showed me never ever give up.. one has to just rise above all this..

And finally.. it's an ode.. to the ones who gave me my Preet and Rizwaan

Mona and Iqbal... most talented actors i have seen ever. You have lived the characters so profoundly and utmost sincerity that it comes across on the screen... i know it's just a show.. but the emotional connect that it has given me... it cannot be described in words.. so i will just say.. thank you for giving me memories of a lifetime..

I started watching Pyar Ko Ho Jane Do for Iqbal Khan. At first i thought that it's a about of a married couple who aren't in love & their family will re-unite them. i didn't imagine that the storyline of PKHJD is about terrorism & two lovers of different countries & religions. It's about giving the massage that terrorist don't have any religion or country...they are only terrorist who only know destruction. When i got to know know this! Uff! I fell in love with the story so much. I fell in love with Hooda family. They r love ❀️ i got completely lost in RizReet & their chemistry. RizReet's love, trust, anger & chemistry made PKHJD my most favourite serial till now. Iqbal Khan & Mona Singh...u two nailed the show. Love u guys ❀️
Now PKHJD got over 😭 i m still unable to accept it! Pyar ko ho jane do...u stole my heart...i will keep cursing Sony Tv for ending PKHJD always...

Thank u Ekta & Harneet for giving us such an intense story. Thank u Pushtie, Mansi, Lavin & all the casts. Thank u Iqbal & Mona for your brilliant performances and holding us tight. We will always remember u.πŸ€— πŸ€—
Proud to be a viewer of this show. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒ
