"Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.
It's one of my favorite quotes on love because as a person who has probably lived half of average human life I have seen a lot of life stories and I believe in happily ever after but that happily ever after becomes a reality only if there is willingness to be together..
Since the start of this series who has a niche reach I have enjoyed it not because of the story but because of the characters called Rizwan & Preet...
The two actors who live them each day for us on screen were fabulous as Ishaan/Rizwan & Preet, How could one not fall in love with the perfection we had Ishaan who was perfect son, perfect brother and perfect everything But it was a facade we first encountered and slowly as the layers peeled you found a antagonist but by then you had seen his human side Too .. Slowly we enjoyed the struggle and his fall in love, we loved for he was human, each day was a struggle but not with the world but himself... Each day he seeked his divine grace to help him... Most days we ended abhorring him because he was dark he was antagonist he was against our country .. Yet when you saw him with his family.. A family which had adopted him, a family he had adopted you started questioning yourself is it possible to love and hate at the same time same person yet he did make you do it...
& then came a time where it almost looked that love had won he would disown the darkness he will choose light... Yet once again it threw you into the abyss of darkness more deeper more further.. The day he hurt Preet that was the day I become certain I can't accept him for he is too flawed in himself.. He only sees the world with his own blinders limiting his view... You wondered even his God couldn't help him and then came todays episode.. A episode that left goosebumps .. Tears streamed in my face unchecked... How honest can one be with his flaws...the begging the pleading in rizwans monologue if it left you with lump in your throat than the bedroom scene with Preet left me drained of all my emotional strength.. It bought me to a point where I wanted to touch the character Rizwan n make his hell disappear... His pain left me with my tears unchecked... For he was human too... Like you and me...
Bas isi braham ko zinda rakhna hai! Ki main Gaddar nahi hoon.
I wish the writer had ended it in a happy note but if not then all I would say is Thanks to all the people who contributed to making it real for me for Rizwan Khan ...
For his n his preets love story is extraordinary!
