After the grand success of Lux Dance India Dance Doubles, Zee TV's upcoming reality show Dance Ke Superstars, will be a battlefield for the Season 1 and Season 2 contestants of Dance India Dance.
Popular anchor on television Manish Paul will be anchoring the show that starts shooting tomorrow.
We spoke to Manish Paul about the show and asked him why he loves anchoring so much. "I am quite excited to be the part of this dancing show, which is new and will have lot of energy. We have some great dancers from earlier seasons of Dance India Dance. I have no idea about the show's concept and will be informed tomorrow when the shoot for the show commences. I will be the solo host of the show."
Talking about his love for anchoring he says, "I love anchoring as I love shows which have a lot of energy. I feel that interaction with the audiences is must and I am glad people think that I am good at anchoring. I think hosting is about being natural, as I don't really copy anyone."
Among the Bollywood anchors, he loves Shah Rukh Khan's style of hosting. "I like the way he represents himself in front of audiences. I really admire SRK's style. He doesn't follow the script totally and follows his heart. Many of my friends have compared my anchoring with his which I really love."
Since the last few days, Manish was not keeping well as he was suffering from measles. But now he says he is feeling better. "I am fine now and I went to shoot for Comedy Circus today."
Though Shiamak Davar will be the solo judge, the show will have various celebrity guests playing the second judge. Mithun Chakraborthy will be the Grandmaster but he won't be present in all the episodes.
Among the contestants Siddhesh Pai, Jai Kumar Nair, Salman, Prince, Alisha, Mayuresh, Vrushali from Season 1, and Shakti, Punit, Dharmesh, Binny, Kruti, Amrita, Amar, Kishore from Season 2 are tipped to be part of the show. From DID Little Masters Avneet, Atul, Vaishnavi, Jeetumoni are likely to participate.
The show is likely to start in few weeks and will be aired on weekend only on Zee TV.
