Barkha's Doli

Barkha Bisht, who played the glamourous anchor on Zoom, is all set to play the character of a jinxed girl in Aroona Irani€™s show €˜ Babul Ki Bitiya Chali Doli Sajake€™ on SaharaOne. Barkha€™s character is called manhoos by none other than her father, played by Anuj Saxena because his wife had died during the childbirth.

However Barkha has no illusions about the difference in a daily serial and anchoring a show. As she says, €˜ While I did enjoy being a glamorous anchor, I am a simple girl at heart. Also this role can not really be slotted as non-glam. It€™s just that it is poles apart from what I was doing as an anchor. Though a daily show can get very stressful, I am here to stay and am willing to work hard for it.€™

Meanwhile, she has denied any immediate plans for marriage with boyfriend Indraneil Sengupta, though she admitted of dating him. For the time being career is her first priority and only after achieving a stable career she would think about marriage.
