well yes u heard it crrct...!A month back the Taj Mahal was at the 14th position with a mere 0.7 % votes, but all thanks to the media blitz,all tht has changed.Now, with 12.6 % votes it is amongst the top seven and is considered as a shoo-in for the final list.going by the latest voting patterns it is amongst the frontrunners along with Machu Picchu[Peru], Easter Islands[Chile] & Chicken Itza[Mexico]
Apart frm tht, even The Great wall of China has seen a drastic change in its voting jumping from 3.6% to 10.6%
The final list will be announced at Lisbon,Portugal on 7.7.07
