Simple Kaul

I go out once a week with friends for a party or a night out. I don't get drunk often as I am an occasional drinker. But, yes, I have got drunk a few times. The funniest memory I have is of the time when I went to Hawaiian Shack with some friends. There was a women's arm wrestling competition going on there, and I won it. I was so happy that I drank too much and acted strangely. The next day, I got such a hangover that I could not give a shot properly.

I drink occasionally. Yes, I've been sloshed but that was years ago. The funniest incident was when I ran into a colleague but just couldn't get his name right because I was a bit high. So, throughout the evening I kept referring to him as 'my friend'. Gosh! It was really embarrassing because he was someone I knew extremely well.

I try and party with my gang at least once a month. We enjoy going to pubs and partying. Once, a man was trying to act fresh with one of my friends. And our entire gang confronted him and got him thrown out of the party! We are not heavy drinkers so we have been spared from embarrassing experiences. Once my friend who was a little high, got hurt by a glass that fell near her leg because of a couple's negligence sitting on the adjacent table. My friend picked up a huge fight and we had a great time trying to pull her out of it!

I often go for night-outs with my best friend Kavita Kaushik. She is my partner in crime when we go partying and end up getting drunk. We have got drunk in the jungle, on the road…. The best memory I have is of the time when we went to Poison with Kavita along with the Dulhann gang. Kavita got so high after boozing, that she started uttering the dialogue, 'Daru peene se liver kharab hoti hai'. She went about telling it to everyone and also went to the washroom to spread these pearls of wisdom. When she spotted Saif Ali Khan, her co-star in Ek Haseena Thi, she told him too. And promptly passed out.

I have a group of female friends with whom I often go out. But most times, our respective boyfriends/husbands end up joining us out of curiosity. On occasions when we are left to ourselves, we have a blast. We either go to each other's houses or to a pub. In any case, we have a lot of music around us. If we are at home, we play cards.

Because of my tight schedule, I go for a night out once a month. I go out with my friends or with my husband to a pub and get drunk. Then, we go to a friend's place. Once, at a party, we all danced the mujra, one by one. It was great fun imitating all the filmi songs and dancing to them.

The last time I got high I walked up to a friend who's an actor and started talking to him. I saw his wife around in the background and told him, "I guess she is looking for you." He turned around and told me, "Deepshi, how you can be so damn mean? You are well aware that we're divorced!" The next morning when I recalled the incident I wanted to kill myself.

I go out with my girlfriends often and do crazy stuff. We gossip and go on drives and hoot at men on the road and get real high that way. It's great fun. Yesterday my friend had a hen party because she was getting married and we all decided to have a blast. All were dressed in sexy clothes and there was wine and cheese along with other things. Soon we were all high and doing the wildest jhatkas and matkas to all the item numbers.
