Krishna came forward and smiled at Jitisha. She looked as if she had seen a ghost. "What...what is this? Who are they?" She asked everyone. Krishna said he was surprised that she forgot about her friend Shyaam. "What nonsene? That's impossible! Shyaam died ages ago. No, you can't be Shyaam...you just can't..." she said and moved backwards. Radhika told her that she was Radha and Krishna was Shyaam indeed. Jitisha kept denying it and said that this had to be a bad dream. Krishna was about to say something when Jitisha fainted on the couch.

Mantra was outside the in the backyard of the Sahay residence, informing Vikrant that Krishna-Radhika had reached Mr.Sahay's house. Vikrant asked him if he tried to find out why they were living there. "Sir, I tried asking Radhika about it in the car but Krishna kept interrupting and changing the topic, as if he has something against me." said Mantra. Vikrant commented that Krishna has probably sensed that there is something wrong with Mantra. He ordered Mantra to introduce himself to the Sahays so that he can visit that house frequently. Mantra replies that he already did, but can't stay there as it would become too obvious that he wants to keep Radhika under his eye all the time. Vikrant tells him to stay at the nearest hotel. "Don't worry, I will pay for your stay. And if anyone asks you why you are staying in Mumbai, just say that you're staying at a friend's house."

After his conversation, Vikrant went into his living room and informed Dhanraj and Akash about his conversation. Then everyone sat down to have lunch with the rest of the family. Vikrant's wife said that she just spoke to Prabha Devi, who explained why Krishna and Radhika acted so abruptly on their honeymoon, going from one place to another and why they were currently living with the Sahays. Vikrant refused to believe the whole "pichla janam" story and thought to himself that he would soon find out from Mantra if this childish fairy-tale was true.

Yash interrupted his thoughts by saying that he noticed something odd about Mantra. "Bauji, when he was a little child I remember him coming over to play with Radhika as they went to the same school. I was never much in touch with his parents, but his father and you were acquaintances at work and he was also a distant cousin of yours. Ever since Mantra came here, not one phone call has come from his parents. Aren't they keeping in touch with their son? Don't they want to know how he is doing?" Vikrant started feeling uncomfortable and said that he had already spoken to Mantra's father many times on his mobile. "He never really knew our family that much, which is why he isn't calling at home. Besides, his son already gives him calls, then why would he call our house?" he said.

Then Madhvi asked "By the way, if Mantra is the son of your cousin/acquaintance and was supposed to stay with us, then why didn't he stay here when Krishna and Radhika were away at their honeymoon? I know that he decided to stay with Radhika at the Rathores' house for a few days, but since Radhika was away shouldn't he have come back here? So where was he while Krishna and Radhika were at their honeymoon?" Before Vikrant could reply, Akash jumped in and said "Actually, he was at a friend's house. He didn't feel that there was any point in him staying here or with the Rathores, since Radhika is living with the Sahays. In fact, Mantra is still staying with his friend in Mumbai!"

Meanwhile, Mantra went back into the Sahay residence and was shocked to see everyone gathered around Jitisha who was fainted on the couch. He kept wondering why everyone here always had strange reactions to seeing Krishna and Radhika. He told Radhika that he was staying in this same city with his friend, so he would come visit them tomorrow. Then he left. Later, a doctor was called in to see Jitisha and he said that there was nothing wrong with her...she could have fainted out of shock since she was already stressed out. "Don't worry, she will regain consciousness very soon." he said, and left.

The evening at the Rana house, Madhvi and Poornima (Radhika's mom) were in the kitchen, discussing Mantra. "Isn't it a little strange that whenever Radhika goes away, he disappears?" said Poornima. "When I spoke to Prabha Devi, she mentioned that he went to stay with his 'friend' right on the day Radhika left, and he returned when she did. The surprising thing is that Radhika wasn't even keeping in touch with him while at her honeymoon, so how did he know when she was returning? And now that she is in Mumbai, he has gone back to staying with his so-called friend who also lives in Mumbai. Strange!"

Madhvi said that she will speak with Yash tonight and ask him to look into this matter, as Vikrant won't listen to their suspicions. She turns around, and finds Vikrant standing right behind her!
